Schneider Smart Fountain Pen, Medium Tip, Black Barrel, Blue Ink (168001)

This the most comfortable pen I use. But its shell is easy to get dirty. I bought a white one one years ago, and I know that. This time I try the black one, and I hope it will be better.

I tend to really like Schneider pens, and love that they are re-filable. But this pen has given me many problems. The nib is scratchy so it does not write smooth but I still used the pen. I went to put in a replacement ink and now any time I try to use the pen it leaks ink. I have re-seated the ink and cleaned the pen multiple times but it still leaks. I have tried different ink cartridges but still have issues and just end up covered in ink.

Love the bright color of this fountain pen. I use it on a daily basis, since I love to write and have been a pen collector for many decades.

I don’t generally really like Schneider products but this one was a mass. It arrived in a simple envelope no box, the pan didn’t have an in cartridge included as advertised, and it proved to be defective: it won’t accept an ink cartridge. I am honestly suspicious that someone is sneaking a Chinese knock off’s in in place of the real Schneider product. I am very disappointed.
