The North Face Etip Glove

Bought these for my girl friend who seems to be allergic to the very thought of being cold. She is very happy with them, they work great with her phone, they keep her hands warm when driving a cold car and while walking to class on cold winter mornings. Alot of the reviews state that they are not warm at all, that they wished they had not had bought them, I say BULL! Are they super warm? No, but if you purchase these with the intentions of surviving a plane wreck in the Alaskan wilderness in January, then you are going to be sorely disappointed. They are good, light weight, non-water proof gloves that do exactly what good, light weight, non-water proof gloves should do. If you are interested, i would give em a shot.

Great name, very good quality, but if you need gloves to keep your hands warm (dah), look elsewhere. Wore these yesterday for the first time when the temp was 37 degrees. Initially, I thought I would be ok, but no! Honestly, at temps in the mid-30s, I'd be just as well off not wearing gloves at all. IDK, maybe if one were to wear these while running they may be sufficient, but as far as wearing when it's cold out, these ain't worth the effort to put on. Sorry!

Overall these are not very warm at all! Bought for Iceland and hands were freezing. The touch for phone worked well but wouldn’t recommend. The coldest temp we were in was only like 32deg

When you tap on an app half the time it doesn't open, but asks you if you want to Edit Home Screen, or Share App, or Delete App, which is a real pain when you're walking down the street. Another thing is that I mostly wear a medium and the glove fits to size in the fingers, which is very good! except that the wrist are too tight and you really have to squeeze your hand through. The clip is a cool idea to keep your gloves together, but they only clip together one way, so that if you try to clip your gloves the other way you have turn them around again, and that's really a pain when you're on the move. ALL these small things add up and that's why I only gave this product 3 stars. (You wonder if they ever test these products out and of course they'll tell you that they do—LOL)

This is my second pair, unfortunately, my "old" pair opened a whole on the stitches near the thumb.. it could technically be fixed with sewing, but I decided to get a new one since I was able to get for $30. I removed one star because of that and because my husband had one of these too, and his gloves were the NAVY one with black palm, but the black palm started discoloring and getting gray really early after his purchase which was very disappointing, so it was pretty ugly for an entire year until the entire palm got grey and the gloves looked good again because it was two colors again. LOL. These are very good gloves, they fit amazing, they are warm and stylish. This is probably the only Noth Face product I am willing to buy, so yeah, they are GOOD!

I bought these, specifically bc I have a grey pair that are the exact same. I bought the grey pair from a sporting goods store a few years ago and I really like how they fit my hands (I have tiny hands). I needed an all black pair for huntung and assumed these would fit the exact same, since they are the same brand, UR, etc.... I bought an XS and they fit like a medium. I can wear my black gloves over the grey pair. A little frustrating

The eTip works fairly well. I've had other eTip gloves before (not North Face) and they worked maybe 50% or less. These work more like 90%. Texting is still relatively impossible, but simple navigating is fairly responsive! As for warmth, they're not THE warmest gloves ever, but work more like a "shell." If you put your hands in your pockets for 30 seconds, they'll warm right back up and you'll be good for a while longer. I use these mostly for driving anyhow, and the fact that they allow me to be dexterous and keep my hands warm on a cold steering wheel is what matters the most to me. Plus, they're North Face so they'll last forever.

Well the discretion says they are warm and my wife said they are too, that is a lie. At 28° outside my fingers were not freeze but really cold to the touch through the gloves in just 10 mins outside in cold of Minnesota. They are probably best for the walk to car at their best temp rating above freezing.

Three things:1) They are UNISEX, NOT MENS. This is written clearly on the packaging when they arrive. So get a larger size. I got an M thinking it would be mens medium, but it's not and now I have to stretch them to fit.2) They are not warm. They are only for 'cool', not 'cold' weather. This is also revealed on the packaging when they arrive. Good for cold indoor environments.3) Not windproof, and doubt they are very waterproof either (not tested yet).If the seller had put a photo of the actual North Face packaging, all of this could have been avoided. #FirstWorldProblems

Rubbish, don't buy it! Two months used and the seam has open, see the pictures....I would like to change these gloves, but the window has closed...

Absolutely rubbish gloves from THE NORTH FACE I expected a lot better quality from a good brand like this. They are made just like rubbish cheap shop gloves that you can buy for under £5 but print North Face on them and then charge you over £20. I’ve only used them for holding the dog lead on the cold mornings & I’ve got holes already. I put these on this morning as it was very cold and if you hold your hand out without moving it you can feel the cold through the gloves like you have not even got them on. Total waste of money.

The gloves fit well and work extremely well on my phone however they are not warm on very cold days. I could feel the cold after a few minutes and my fingers were red with cold after half an hour.

Loving the warmth, feel and confort. Though I went for a size smaller due to them being touchscreen enabled and it worked out fine. Glad I bought these and would recommend if you have the need for this feature.
