After more than a year of trying to get our dog to walk with a loose leash, we finally tried this collar. It has worked great. Instantly, no more pulling. It doesn't seem like it hurts him. He's never yelped and doesn't look unhappy when I put it on him. Only downside is that it's a bit difficult to get on. I measured our dog's neck and this should fit easily, but it's a bit of a tight fit over his eyes and ears. I wish there was a way to clip and unclip it. If your dog has very thick fur or is at the upper end of the neck size limit, I'd advise looking elsewhere.

Great price and worked instantly with the pulling while walk training. My dog listens with this collar and knows not to tug or it gets uncomfortable. At first I thought this collar was cruel but one rarely, if ever, has to pull on it. The dog smartens up fast. I may even be able to stop using it once she is completely trained. It is better than her pulling away and attacking a person or another dog. Not that she has but I feel better that I can control her especially when absolutely necessary to avoid any possible injuries to anyone. Including my dog.

It functionally works, IF it stays on the dog. The way it is designed, a set of the prongs basically set into another set of prongs to keep it clasped shut. However, if the dog stands still and the collar rotates down, the clasp will open up by itself and fall off the dog. And now that the dog is mad at you for having such a thing on them, the dog takes off running. This left both my wife and my son pretty upset, as they had to chase our dog through yards and such. The only way to use this collar effectively, is to crimp the prongs together so it permanently clasps shut. This would force the owner to gently slide the collar on and off the dog over the head, which is not optimal at all.I would only recommend this product to people I don't like.

The shipping was fast, and its probably the only good thing about this purchase.I got the biggest size they have, and still it was too small for my dog - 20 month old Rottweiler ( female).Might be ok for smaller dogs..but not too much use for mine now..

I do not like leaving negative feedback because I know that many of the sellers on Amazon are small businesses, but the business who sells this product should pull it immediately. The nubs on the end of these prongs are sharp! To use this collar on your dog would be completely inhumane and I will be returning it today. If you look closely at the photo, which I did before I made the purchase, the nubs look smooth. But believe me, they are not! They are sharp, and if you give a dog a correction with this collar, there is no way it won't injure him. Plus the quality feels cheap. Don't bother buying this collar.

Excellent! Prongs are not sharp (they shouldn't be) and the collar has a good slip to it. Corrects my dog when he gets ahead of me, and makes him pay attention. I'm definitely winning the psychological game with him now.

It doesnt stay together well and tends to come open at the most inconvenient moments.
