Yes, I knew there would be several cables and ends that I won't be using, as I bought this to replace a single adapter that was no longer being made - it's just a little messy to have a bunch of extra wires and tips that I don't need. I've tried to tape them up together out of the way as best I could, and I'll just deal with it - but the adapter works great and for the price I can't complain.

Does not output what it claims. Does okay for very low requirement devices.

Absolutely DO NOT BUY THIS!!! Piece of junk! Lucky I checked it first with a VOM meter prior to installation.No matter where the selector switch was set, it produced 18 V DC.Lucky I checked it prior to powering the 1.5 V DC equipment I purchased it for.

Bought 3 of these for a project I am working on converting battery driven devices to make them run on electricity. Thankfully I measured the output before I used them. Set at 110 input /1.5 volts output, the device delivered 6.4 volts, more than enough to fry the devices I am working on. There were similar results for other setting culminating in the 12 volt setting putting out 19.8 volts. THIS IS DANGEROUS - DO NOT BUY THESE DEVICES - THEY WILL FRY YOUR EQUIPMENT !!!!!!!!!
