Microlite lenses are by laminating two pieces of acetate plastic with a high quality polarizing filter in the middle. Microlite lenses are extremely durable and are also very lightweight

Good construction/quality, but a little large.
The quality and construction is definitely better than many other brands of aviators on amazon, but these were a little larger that the last pair that I purchased. Overall they are good sunglasses though.

Great For The Price
I began using polarized glasses for fishing but only could afford cheap ones until one day I splurged and paid $250 for a pair of Maui Jim's which I took excellent care of - until I lost them. Looking around for a quick replacement I found these and will never go back to the more expensive models. The Style Eyes fit my massive head with no slipping off even when I'm sweating profusely. They are nice looking and the "polarization" is fine for what I use them for, namely eliminating the glare while spotting fish I want to cast to in rivers and shallow salt water. My first pair went flying out my car window when I'd left them too close on the dashboard so on this past purchase I bought two. Inexpensive, good quality, well fitted and decent looking - what's not to like?

Big band for the buck
I have ordered 5 pair of these now. For the price, Im not heartbroken when I break or lose a pair. I went the route of Maui Jim’s before and losing a pair of $250 glasses is just not for me…. but the quality of the polarized lenses leave a lasting impression. The polarized lenses in these glasses are what I would consider above average. The fit great, provide good coverage and are trendy. No one would ever know the real cost of these glasses. Two thumbs up.
