Love this disco bulb! I bought this for my granddaughter to look at while I change her diapers. She hated to have them changed. Now, she is mesmerized by the dazzling colors that display on the ceiling and diaper changes are a breeze. I moved it to my living room and ran it for several hours and she watches the colors so intently. The bulb ran without issues and never got hot. I 100% would recommend this product!

The media could not be loaded. Working on temporarily converting my apartment garage into a a tiny haven to skate in. I looked at disco balls and other party light fixtures but they all seemed kind of expensive and bulky and functionally inconsistent based on reviews. Went with just this bulb and honestly am super pleased with it. I also grabbed a hanging light socket from amazon and already had a smart plug, so connected them all together in my garage and I love it. The bulb base for this light is standard sized but the bulb itself is slightly larger than a standard bulb, so keep that in mind if you’re trying to put it in a tiny fixture. I can’t see any cons to this- glad I went with this light.Video included- please ignore the mess as my tiny skating rink is a work in progress. : )

I had other party disco bulbs before, but the faceted spinning part was weakly attached to the rest of the bulb. Two broke when I simply pulled the bulbs out of their super tight packaging. What a disappointment.Lo and behold these AWESOME Feit party bulbs! I will never buy any other brand. The spinning facet part of the bulbs is housed in a crystal clear dome which gives the shape of the whole bulb a traditional light bulb shape. The clear housing dome is securely attached to the bulb base. This was much appreciated when I was pulling bulb out of box and screwing them into the 3 (ceiling fan) lights in our living room. These lights have those glass shades on each bulb and these large sized party bulbs fit just fine in the sconce size shades.Our living room gets southern sun exposure, so I shut the front door, but left the floor length curtains open. So that bright light was coming through the large living room window. I was surprised I could still see the vivid colored light spinning around and around! All three bulbs worked flawlessly and the overall effect was magical! My two youngest kids both asked if we could use these lights at their next birthday parties and I said, Of course!If I can find some extra money in our budget, I am totally going to buy more for the three light staircase chandelier and the four light kitchen ceiling fan! I may even spring for the plug-in, adjustable light sockets to light the hallway and main bathroom. Now I need to think of the various lamps we have which may accommodate standard bulbs!Yes, I may be overly excited; these bulbs are AWESOME! I rarely write such enthusiastic reviews, but after my initial disappointment with the other party bulbs, I know I found some light bulb gems! Go ahead and buy them if you're considering the purchase.

I replaced a set of previous lights that no longer rotated. These worked beautifully. Hopefully the last longer than the previous brand

great Christmas deco

I bought these to use in my outdoor garage and patio lights around Christmas. They are to replace the smaller and cheaper versions of this light made by other companies, where the moving parts are not under a sealed plastic dome. All of these cheaper versions would either stop rotating in the cold, would have the rotating lens unscrew itself and fall to the ground, or would to start to rotate way too slow. So after rebuying the cheaper versions multiple times I decided to pay more for this product. Happy I did as these are more heavy duty and sealed to the elements. They are significantly bigger than a standard bulb so be warned if your light fixture is small. The light patterns it throws are fun and festive. It is also much more quiet. Hoping these can survive below freezing temperatures. Will update my review if they don't. Taking a star off because I do think they are overpriced.

These bulbs fit easily into my exterior garage lights. Renter friendly since there are no extra attachments to modify for use. Even the neighbor said holy smokes when they saw them at night.

If you're looking to add some quick ambiance to a party, you really can't go wrong with one of these bulbs. The mechanism is similar to that in the smaller USB-powered party lights you may have seen; there are three flashing LEDs in different colors and a multifaceted prism to create the different light patterns being emitted. The difference is that this bulb has a mechanism that actually rotates the prism once the light is turned on and the flashing effect is more subdued than some of the more strobe-like effects I have seen and used elsewhere.Since this is essentially a mechanical and not an electronic device, it is not sensitive to sound, so the pattern you get will not speed up or slow down in time to any music. It's definitely old-school, so if you are looking for a more controllable light show effect (possibly for stage use at a small club) you will need a pricier alternative. For my use, the current lightbulb is just fine.The bulb is larger than I expected, but it screws into a normal lamp socket just fine.
