Good optics, let down by poor operating system and processing/wi-fi
I bought this projector with high hopes, but am now returning after trying it out for a coupe of hours. Here is why:The good: - The optics are good, and it is bright. When projecting from another device, the quality is good. - It is fairly compact, with headline specs similar to larger projectors - it does have Android, so you can view Netflix without another deviceThe bad: - Apps from the Aptoid store do not work well. Netflix and iPlayer are jerky, and Amazon Video simply crashes after 2 seconds of video playback. EVERY single time. I suspect it's a combination of an old-version-based operating system with weak processing power onboard. - It purports to be full HD but I am not convinced. The seller assured me that it is full HD, but after testing, the resolution, visually looks more like 800 or 720 pixels vertically. I didn't measure scientifically though.I bought this to travel and avoid having to take multiple devices to drive the projector, and just watch Netflix and Amazon Video, iPlayer natively. Simply, they either work poorly or not at all. I'll now be ordering a WOWOTO H10 instead. Smaller, similar specs (although headline just 1280x800) and significantly smaller and with Android 6.0.

For the price the picture and sound quality is superb
When I first received this projector the remote didn’t work. I am so glad that I took the trouble to contact the supplier, they have provided a new remote and the projector works really well. I have two of them and out of all the projectors that I have, these are two of the best, they are 1080p and will play 4K . For the price the picture and sound quality is superb

Absolutely brilliant
This machine pushes others in to the dark agesThe picture is brilliantI bought a sound bar to accompany this projector but I needn't of bothered the sound is clear and loud enough even on half volumeAs for the noise the machine makes when it's running its about as loud as a mouse fartthere is pretty much no noise at allOther machines sound like a concrete mixer by comparison

Stylish and effective
I bought this to replace an Epson projector that stopped working suddenly (assuming it blew a bulb). Anyway, I'd never heard of JMGO, but liked the look of this and decided to take a chance. It's pretty easy to set up, JMGO were accessible to answer questions via E-mail, and the sound is excellent, as is the picture. We beam onto a white wall, from a distance of maybe five feet, and the picture works brilliantly. Our Amazon Firestick plugs straight in, as does USBs with videos. I've synched my mobile to play music through the speakers - they're good. I tried to sync my iPad with the projector, but it kept dropping. Personally, this wasn't a big deal, and with a bit of patience I'm sure the problem could have been sorted. It's small and looks good on furniture. We wanted something discreet, that delivers good sound and picture. This ticks all of those boxes. It isn't a cheap option, but it's worth it.

JMGO N7 - It does support upscaled 4K HDR content using a Fire Stick 4K.
This is my first ever projector. i’ve Never used other JmGo products before so i can't compare it to other models.Being used to an LG Oled C8 55’’ moving to a projector is a big screen size step up since you can go up to 300”. But there are many compromises.About the Android OS:As many have stated, this it is an outdated OS.The latest Netflix app version you can get is from 2015. The best resolution you can get from this app is 720p.The YouTube app seems to be a newer version, and you can get up to 1080p.The mirroring from my Mac is actually pretty good from a resolution point of view! This is one great option to stream 1080p content from Netflix, or playing downloaded content using your Mac and mirror it to the N7 projection.Want to mirror a game? Offline/single player games can be playable but you will still get quite a high latency, never mind about mirroring your online gaming.i did have some issues with mirroring through AirPlay while watching long movies, the mirroring would freeze every 20 minutes: not sure if the issue is with airplay or the projector.SOLUTION to the outdated OS? Hook up an amazon Fire Stick 4K. This projector has HDMI 2.0 (HDCP 2.2). One of the most important features to stream 4K content from HDMI.With the Fire Stick 4K (or an Apple TV 4K, or any similar devices) you can stream upscalled, non-native 4K HDR content. The details and resolutions are great!I did experience some issues with colors, mostly while using HDR. The projector has very basic control on colors, and that's about it, so getting the perfect image and colors can be challenging. No, you wont get the same experience as an Oled 4K tv. At night, with all the blinds closed and no lights on, the brightness in most scenes will not be satisfactory. The contrast in Dark scenes is often greyish and not a pure black.During the day, or with very suble lights on, the image becomes greatly faded.About the quality of the sound:In my opinion, way too much Bass. In action scenes, where there are various sounds such as explosions, music and people talking, you would mostly hear the bass shouting. I hooked up my Bose mini(which also has high basses), yet i got a much clearer and crisper experience, all the sounds would align accordingly.I am giving 4 stars because I had to return the projector due to a faulty Fan. The project would constantly run at 45-60dbs while the manufacturer stated that it should run at 33dbs. This would happen both using mirroring, the OS, or the Fire stick.45-60dbs is way too high, in most movies where there are dialogues and some music, the fan noise would be way to overwhelming and quite an annoying distraction. The only moments where the fan would be covered by the sound would be at 75%+ volume and in scenes with at least some music and ambiental sounds.Would i recommend this JmGo N7 projector?1. Yes, if you are able to get one with a working fan.2. Yes If you are willing to spend an extra 100£+ for the Amazon Fire Stick, and a good soundbar.Overall i would have kept it, if it wasn't for the faulty fan. It does take time to optimise everything to get the best image and sound, but i loved the experience, it did feel like being at the cinema, which i guess it's the whole point of the projector experience. For £759 this is a beginners projectors for those that want to start experiencing a big screen. But i would perhaps recommend a classic projector, without an outdated OS, and that has true 4K capability and with properly engineered colors adjustment features and certificates. The difference in budget would be of about 250/500£+ , but

Can watch my programs on my tv
I was in need of a HDMI cable for my new Tv and this one is perfect, the only down thing to this one would be the fact that the cable length is not that long which i would personally have preferred but in terms of quality in sound and image, it reflects perfectly what I have on my computer or phone. The price for this represents the good value for the money for an item like this which shows what you want and connects within seconds to the tv screen.
