I searched high and low for a replacement power supply for my Dell desktop tower. I was concerned about compatibility with all the required connectors, I didn't want to install connector converters. I settled for a little more money for an exact match for my power supply. Form, fit, and function were a perfect match and I didn't expect different. The power supply installed effortlessly and is working perfectly. I highly recommend this power supply for any Dell or other manufacturers computers that call for this specification.

This power supply was like the OEM one that came in my old Dell Inspiron 530. Computer just stopped working one day, no screen display but the power light was on on the old power supply, and on the motherboard, but no light on front of PC when I pressed the power button. Took out old power supply and put this one in and it worked perfectly. I was able to get my 7.5 year old PC up and running so I could transfer all my files to my new PC.

I have a 2008 Dell Inspiron 530 desktop and was having trouble getting it to turn on. Sometimes it would turn on with the first push of the button, other times it took quite a few. Then came the day it wouldn't turn on at all. The power light in the back was always on, but there was no light or beeps from the front. My friend was able to check the button and it was ok, so I called Dell to see what I should try next. They gave me no help what so ever. They said my computer was at the end of life and they no longer had parts for it. I called a tech at OutletPC and received all the help I needed. He said to try the power supply and gave me the model number I needed. He also said if it didn't work, I would be better off buying a new computer because I would be running into higher cost repairs. I was also told about a hard drive enclosure so I would have access to the information on my hard drive. The Bestec power supply was an exact match to the one in the computer and was an easy install. It was wonderful when the computer was plugged in, the button pushed and the computer turned on. I ordered the Bestec on August 23, 2014 and received it on August 27, 2014. I would definitely buy from OutletPC again.

Price was a little high. But it was an exact replacement and was easy to install. Got me back up and running. I hope this one is not faulty like the one that came with the computer. I have mostly switched to solid state devices to avoid hardware replacements.

Power supply works fine. However, This Bestec was advertised but that wasn't the brand I received.

I installed this into an older model Dell PC after previous one was taken out from lightening strike nearby. Fit perfectly and operates as well as the original.

I am using an old Dell Inspiron 530 as a home theater PC. Recently, we experienced a winter storm. Had multiple power surges. It completely fried the original power supply. Ordered this and replacement was easy as pie. Removal and installation took less than five minutes. My only complaint is that the price may seem alittle high. But much cheaper than building another home theater PC.

Perfect original equipment replacement. Not very hard to install. I was very careful to document where each connector went before I disconnected the old power supply. But I wish I had smaller hands. Anyway, after an hour's deliberate and cautious effort I was successful. I now feel like a qualified computer tech!
