When I first saw this part I immediately wanted to return the part bc it was used part. However, I remember what the guy from O’Reilly Auto Part told me. The guy has a Nissan xterra also and had same problem I had. I changed the starter and alternator and it would still crank and I had to jump start it. He told me it was this part that needed to be replace and It was hard part to replace. They did not carry the part. By chance we looked up on Amazon and found it. It got to the point my xterra would click and not start. Instead of jump start I would gently tap this part that was connected to the battery and it would start. Today , I replace it with the part and I not had no problem starting my vehicle. You will not find brand new factory made part. I recommend you order it and give it a chance. The cost is little so you have less lose and much to gain. My mechanical put it on and it took him ten minutes.
