DUMP THE PUMP - THIS CONTRIBUTED TO A MASSIVE DROP IN BUN, AND REDUCED PHOSPHEROUS
My dog and I were told that he had a BUN of 138 on 1/28/22 (norm was 7-25). Phospherous score was 9.8 (norm was 2.9-6.6).I initially gave him the weight-appropriate portion of Epakitin, twice daily, from 2/3/22, along with: Kidney Restore and Kidney Shield, which are all sold on Amazon. I also conducted daily healing work using Applied kinesiology and the disease chart published by Dr. Ryke Geerd Hamer (The German New Medicine) to identify and change organ dysfunction.I rechecked the blood work on 2/8/22 with a different vet, and the BUN score had dropped to 61, and the phospherous score dropped to 8.1.These are massive improvements in just 5 days. I am unsure which of these 3 elements (Epakitin, Kidney Shield/Restore, and / or the healing) helped, but they helped.Unfortunately, my dog decided to stop eating a couple of days after the blood work on 2/8, and he was sent back to heaven on 2/14 to avoid him experiencing suffering and pain from any more weight loss. The product came with a pump and a screw top lid. I tried the pump, but it was nearly impossible to see whether the pump had dispensed liquid when the spout was in my dog's mouth. This resulted in me giving my dog two pumps, and he vomited his food 30-minutes later. He most likely had too much fat at one go (this product is composed of Omega 3 fats, primarily). I then dumped the pump, and only gave Kidney Shield to him with food, or I poured a little into a small, stainless steel measuring scoop, and then poured it into his mouth after food. I don't recommend giving this product on an empty stomach without food, and start with a half portion for a day, and then increase it gradually. The Kidney Shield/Restore, and Epakitin products all have their own taste, and I tried to ensure that I didn't combine all three in one meal. E.g. I gave the Epakitin and Kidney shield in the morning, and then the Epakitin, and the Kidney Restore at night. My concerns was that too many flavors, along with the flavor of my dog's food, would put him off of eating. Visit my reviews of Epakitin and Kidney Restore for some additional information about how I used these products.I would definitely use the product again.

Improved super picky cat's appetite!
When my cat was diagnosed with Stage 2 kidney disease, I wanted to do everything I could to reduce strain on her kidneys. Four months ago, I purchased the Kidney Support. The biggest issue is that for years I have tried to improve my cat's diet, but ALL she would eat were Temptation treats. After buying all sorts of expensive foods, including foods recommended by the vet, I eventually gave up and turned her to an all Temptations diet. My vet understood because it was better than her not eating at all. Literally, it came down to not eating anything or eating treats only. She would go an entire day of not eating anything before I relented and gave her treats because she was only 6.5 pounds and needed something in her system. What I learned later was that cats with kidney disease are nauseous and so they often become picky and will only want to eat really tasty foods.Along with Temptation treats, my cat really loves the Hartz Squeeze Up gravy. I started to mix half a pump of the Kidney Support with the gravy. To my delight, she lapped it all up! Over time, I noticed that along with her Temptations, she also started to eat more of her prescription kidney dry food. The biggest change though has come in the past month. My cat is now eating REAL food all of the time and preferring it over the treats. I mix half a can of Salmon Friskies wet food with a packet of Fancy Feast broth and an entire squirt of the Kidney Support. She eats it all everyday! What is more, she is now starting to eat an ENTIRE can (mixed with the broth and Kidney Support) a day. My cat hasn't eaten a daily recommended meal in years!I doubt it is a coincidence that after adding Kidney Support to her diet that she has suddenly started to eat more. She still pees a lot so I know the renal failure is still there, but she has also put on half a pound. I can't stop the kidney disease, but I think the Kidney Support is helping. Her diet has definitely improved. She hardly eats treats anymore. While it costs about $3 a day for the can of food, two things of broth, and gravy - it's worth it to know she's eating again.

Great product and a great value
For the price paid, you get a large amount of the product and my cat, who is older and has kidney problems, loves the flavor. I have been using it for a week now and, while the timeframe has been short, he appears a bit more peppy. He certainly perks up when I get the bottle out.I didn't want to mix the supplement with his food; he is on prescription food that is pretty expensive so, I tried it first as a stand alone snack. He wasn't sure about that as he has never had a liquid snack. He would lick it off my fingers pretty eagerly but, just not out of his bowl. After that, I put some in his bowl and mixed in a few of his treats. That worked. After a couple days I can now just give him a little squirt and he doesn't need other snacks in to get him to consume it. He runs to his bowl for the supplement just as he would for any other snack so, it must taste good. Leaving the taste test to him....They did send the product without a pump but did include a notice that the pumps were no longer available due to Covid. Makes sense to me. And, they included an alternate flip top lid that, in my opinion is a better option. With a pump you usually can't get the last little bit of the product without taking the pump out and pouring when you get to the last little bit. With the alternate lid they provide, you can easily use up the entire bottle conveniently and without waste. The bottle will easily last three months based on the dosage for my cats weight - 1 teaspoon a day. (16 oz = 96 teaspoons, so about three months and a week)All in all, this is a great value and a great product. All the ingredients listed are easy to pronounce because they are just natural products....fish oils and vitamins. No weird sounding words that make you wonder what your pet might be ingesting. I give the product two thumbs up and, if you have a pet cat or dog, highly recommend trying it out.
