Although the product has been replaced, the initial package came with the ceramic part broken. All this was due to poor packaging on the part of the manufacturer and the seller (who should have put it in an additional box with packing material). The replacement is working fine and it puts out the scent quite a bit so I use less than my other diffuser. The reason for only two stars is because I had to return the first one and I'm still waiting for Amazon to credit me.
