Many years ago, when I graduated from college, I was gifted a heavy black and gold Schaefer Pen from one of my old professors--who had become a dear friend as he gently guided me into a career in higher education. He passed shortly after that day and I have come to cherish the pen, thinking of him and his fidelity to his students, each time that I use it.

Had a nice pen that was out of ink. Looked online and found this. Worked great and fit the pen perfectly. The writing action is great and smooth. Color of black is rich and stands out good on even not so white paper.

This refill did not fix my pen as it was too large. I discovered there are different sized Sheaffer rollerball pen refiles.My pen is a Sheaffer Rollerball II. THIS REFILL ID NOT INDICATE ANY SIZES. So I threw it out. I learned that my size requires a Sheaffer Roller Ball Thin. A learning experience. Just be aware of what you order.
