Floor Protection Film

This is impossible to put down! It will NOT unroll and even standing on it while TRYING does not work. It sticks to itself and not to the carpet. Once it is stuck you can forget about straightening it out. Mine is still sitting in the corner and my carpet is unprotected.

This is a great product. I used it to protect our oak flooring during some remodeling. Stands up well to heavy traffic and has not been punctured or torn. It takes a little patience to work with as I do not have a roll applicatior. 45 days later it was easy to pull up and did not ruin the finish or leave any stick residue. I am impressed.

DO NOT BUY!! A warning to anyone looking at this product: the only thing it sticks to is itself. It doesn't stick to the carpet, but with even the smallest disturbance it would start to fold and cling to itself. We purchased this product to protect brand new carpeting during a move. We did our best to carefully lay out the plastic in walkways throughout the house, even using tape in areas. On the very first piece of furniture, the plastic started bunching together, nearly tripping the movers and almost causing a catastrophe. We tried several times to straighten out the plastic but once it sticks to itself it is not salvageable. In the end we had to pull it up and throw away about $50 of completely worthless plastic. I have never been more disappointed in an Amazon purchase.

Excellent product and easy to use - it is best to have two people do stairs.

This was nice and wide, perfect for protecting our carpet during our son's graduation party. However, it's not super sticky, and kept rolling up on the edges as people walked over it. Could be a bitore tacky for ensuring carpet stays covered.

Definitely sticks well to laminate floors and peeled off nicely. The hard part is trying to lay it on without bubbles because it would probably require two people - one to pull the roll and one to smooth out the bubbles before adhering to the floors.

THE PRODUCT SEEMS EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED. Unfortunately it arrived later than I anticipated and I could not use it for this occasion. I decided to keep it for future need. But I was disappointed.

This film is supposed to be safe for wood floors….. Not!! It literally peeled away spots of varnish, and ruined them! I’d be better off just letting everyone walk over the wet floor or used a tarp… crap product that’ll leave me $1000 in debt for refinishing job….
