Weather-Proof Cat Scare

Good to stop cats coming in gsrden, works well, does the trick , lasts well through winter, would certainly recommend this seller

This cat scarer does not have a point on the cat's feet so you can just stick it into your garden, instead you have to screw it on to a pointed piece of wood first. This makes it a good bit more inconvenient to use. I probably should have looked at the picture more closely before buying but I've seen others which have a point and just assumed it would have too.

I have often thought of buying one of these and, as a last resort, finally got one. As I have always suspected this does NOT scare anything. In fact the cats walk past it on the trellis and chuckle to themselves. Absolutely useless. I only leave it there on the trellis because the light from the lamp post outside our gate shines through the tiny glass eyes and makes it look spooky in the dark. Not to mention the fact that I can't get up a ladder. Anyway, it's not doing any harm there. In fact it's not doing anything at all. Perhaps it will keep the halloweeners away.Luckily it didn't break the bank but don't bother if you are pinning your hopes that it will stop those pesky cats.

Although we still have a cat problem these were the only thing we bought that seem to help.We made stands for these cat scarers ( they do not suppy stands just flimsy clear plastic hooks which are hopeless and you cant put the scarer anywhere securely ) that being said we used a 2" piece of timber and made stands so we could move around the garden.You could stick them into place too.We have them standing around the garden and in our doorways as we were getting cats coming into into the house spraying, urinating and deficating so tried every scarer on the market.We live in a hot climate in spain and have the doors open in the summer so were desperate.The eyes shine at night and they have scared both of us when we forget they are there, so i do think especially for the price, they are worth a try.No cats have come into the house since we placed these just inside the doors.Everything else we bought was hopeless so save your money on electronic cat scarers which seem to attract more cats.give these weather proof scarers a try, they look ok too.

Many reviews complain that this does not deter cats from coming in their gardens; however, I don't think this is intended as a cat scare device of that sort. I bought this with the understanding that cats don't like to be watched while they do their business. The eyes on this silhouette are suitably off-putting for that purpose. Prior to using this I was clearing up a dozen or more "little presents" from my lawn every week. When I got the siting of this right (hanging, just touching the ground from a tree in the middle of the lawn), the problem stopped completely. If you are concerned about the affect on birds visiting your garden, there is no need to worry: they walk around it, feed near it and seem not to notice it at all.I've written this review about three years after buying this item and it's still appearing to do good service, despite many cats in the neighbourhood. I'm glad I bought it.

The media could not be loaded.  Ive got some cats messing my garden and my baby keep playing on the grass. Look at this damn cat today lol. Beautiful stuff man keeps the cats away . Recommended

I was very pleased with this when it arrived. Great I thought, no more cats leaving presents for me in the garden but alas they don't scare anything. Nice garden ornament though...
