Gave off the wall temperatures! Does not work. So sad that I even had to give it one star. Do NOT buy.

All the reviews are fake. This product's reviews are rated "F" by fakespot. We are a home with 2 engineers, 2 master degrees and a US Patent and even after reading and rereading the manual, we couldn't figure out how to get this to work. Look at their Amazon ad... the display doesn't even read 98.6. Unfortunately we didn't try to use it until we were sick, by then the time to return this had lapsed. Its dangerous and reads over 3 degrees low!. It's in the trash now..

Works only some of the time. It gives me an error message about 75% of the time until it will finally work. I’ve only had it for about a month, and I use it often as my kids have gotten a lot of colds this winter. It worked fine in the beginning, but now it’s very frustrating when I want to take a temp in the middle of the night and it gives me the error message 5 times before finally reading.
