The cost is the USP of this brown rice. This is a really good option for those who want to shift from white rice to brown rice. Brown rice has a lower GI which means the carbohydrates present in it are slowly converted into sugars when compared to normal rice. Also brown rice has a higher fiber content and therefore is beneficial for your bowel movements as well. Yes, brown rice contains a little amount of folic acid but if you are eating in controlled potions along (say 2-3 times a week) you should not worry about it.The quality is good and rice grains are of sufficient length. The taste is good and it hardly takes 10 minutes more to cook when compared to white rice.So i would suggest that you make the shift from white rice to brown rice ASAP!

It's brown rice. But taste is too bad. Don't go for brown rice. White rice is much much better than brown rice. What you are looking in brown rice, you can get those components in Poha (Chire), Suji, Wheat flour (Aata) etc... This food items are available in less price & their tastes are also very good.

This brown rice is of very high quality. It cooks well and tastes well

Every mouthful had bits of grit that could not get washed away even after rinsing. Like fine sand. Definitely does not taste good. It was like we were eating cardboard with sand. The entire meal was ruined because of this. Will have to feed the rest to the birds: hope they at least are able to eat it. Please never ever buy this product.
