CAMELBAK Classic 85 oz

Plenty big enough for my needs as I'm currently only doing short runs. Other reviews have mentioned the lack of a decent seal on the cap but this is due to it not being sealed properly by the user. This has happened to me once or twice but if you turn the cap anticlockwise until it drops down then turn clockwise to seal there's no leakage and filling is made easier with the built in handle. I was going to only give 4 stars for storage but this is for carrying water not hiking equipment and the storage is adequate for a phone and keys. Overall a good quality product that does its intended job well.

I understand why people loan about the seal, it's user error, I've done it a few times that I've not got the lip on properly, excellent size pouch could be bigger but you'll squeeze a phone and keys into it, straps are good size is perfect and I've found it good all long distances rides very happy, if you need space to carry extras like puncture repair stuff and other niggles buy a bigger rucksack version this is purely for hydration.

My dad loves it. Uses it for walking and bird watching.

Bought by accident thought it was a rucksack with a water bottle feature, rather than just a water bottle rucksack. Works well with good capacity.

I couldn’t believe the bad reviews for this as my other camelback has been great, so I bought one anyway. I filled it and closed it, and water just gushed out of the filling hole. I tried again and it sealed but then it failed another two times before sealing partially. Seems like the seal is temperamental or just unreliable. I’ve returned mine and will try another model with a different bladder.

Kept leaking (tried all the usual methods to stop) and just tended to flop about on my back making it uncomfortable. Sent back today, shame really because I've always used camelbak and rated them highly.

On the second time of using this the connector that holds the tube to the bladder snapped in half leaving it unusable.

I have only used the hydration back 4 times since I got this and the mouth piece has already started leaking.

Habe mir diesen Camelbak für's Radfahren zugelegt. Er ist gut zu tragen , Flussigkeitsmenge ist ausreichend auch für längere Touren . Die kleine Tasche reicht für das Nötigste , Handy etwas Gelt und Schlüssel , für den es einen Haken gibt um nicht verloren zu gehen. Klare Kaufempfelung

This CamelBak Classic is the slightly older model than the current version and in my opinion it is set up better with a zipper across the pouch rather than set vertically on the newest version. I use this CamelBak on my road bike to carry a few extra items and of course easy to get at water. This is an excellent item, not too big and not to small.
