I’m renting a house where I’m not allowed to put holes in the wall, so I didn’t mount it with the included hardware. Instead I used heavy duty command strips, which has worked just fine for holding up my ukulele.

Quick install. Can be easily mounted into a stub with enclosed screws or mounted into drywall with included anchors/screw. Bought additional units to have more instruments hanging for ‘grab and play’ sessions…

I have a Deviser Uke and this hanger which has a 1-1/2 inch width between bars fits perfectly. The hardware was included, (2 wood screws and 2 anchors) I didn't need the anchors but they have included them. It looks fabulous and it's so nice to be able to hang my uke up and have it safely within reach of my desk.

I put this product (and a guitar hanger from the same company) up in my apartment. Both did their jobs as expected.However, when it was eventually time to move out, I found that after I removed the screws, the wood block was still quite firmly stuck to the wall. I was able to use a small bit of card to work into a small crack between the block and the wall, and eventually get it free. When it came down, a large chip of paint from the wall was firmly attached to the back of the block, and of course the wall looks awful. The same thing happened with the guitar hanger, only worse. I don't know what kind of paint my landlord used on my walls, but I think it impressed and bonded with the porous wood surface.The hanger itself is very reasonably priced. The chunk lost from my security deposit will probably be much larger.I wonder if having a thin paper liner between the wall and the hanger would have prevented this, or maybe a soft waxy finish?

Like everyone else here has already stated, this is an outstanding buy for the price. All components of this hanger are of excellent quality, and it was very easy to install. I own one and plan on ordering an additional two soon. Highly recommended buying this if you have random instruments propped up in corners around your house, tucked away in cases/gig bags.So why four stars instead of five? Well, I tried this hanger out with multiple instruments, and most of them fit well... but beware of certain brands of soprano ukes. I have a couple Lanikai and Mahalo sopranos, and when hung these ukes projected from the wall at a 45 degree angle. If you hang them backwards (the ukes facing the wall), they hang as they should - parallel to the wall. Not a huge deal, but enough to cause some brow furrowing - had I been purchasing the hanger exclusively for that size, I would've been really disappointed.I'm chalking this up to the smaller instruments' light weight: a Michael Kelly F-Style Mandolin, a concert uke, and two different tenor ukes all hung from it just fine. Something to keep in mind if you plan on using this hanger for a soprano (unless you don't mind hanging it facing the wall).Slainté.

Got two, one was open and missing parts. Will have to make special trip to hardware store to make it functional. Seems to be a sturdy product otherwise.

Although I do like this item, I am not hanging my best banjo on It as I’m a bit worried about as to whether it will take the weight. Also, slightly over priced I think.

I've tried others and sent them back. This is a quality product, does the job perfectly and looks good on the wall. So simple to put up, too. I bought 2 and if (or when) I add to my uke collection, this is the one I'll be buying to mount it.

I use String Swing for guitars, mandolins and Uke's for my son and myself. They are neat, good quality, and strong. Easy to use and adjust to the instruments, and easy to install. Not the cheapest product for the job, but a very good one.

This is a handy little fixture, well designed and made and a great way of keeping the guitar off the floor, damaged by falls etc. I got one for each of my kids and they're delighted, too! I recommend it.

These are great, my soprano and tenor ukuleles look amazing hanging on the wall, great being up out of the way safe and sound and easy to grab whenever you get the urge to play! Easy to follow instructions for hanging.
