The media could not be loaded. I bought this scale as a gift to my baabydaddyy for fathers day. i waited to review because lots of people in the reviews say it went out soon after purchase. I wanted to give it an honest rating regardless of what that type was since i almost didn't purchase this one because of what I read.Since he is getting his feet wet (maybe i should say hands wet) with jugo of the E kind for his own use. And its needs to be pruh-siiice measurements and/or weights. No eyeballing or guessing with this craft. No sir-ree bob. And this scale assists him NICELY while he's still getting familiar with everything as time goes by especially with the VERY small amount of ingredients that are sometimes annoying but crucial for the recipe to come out perfect. I mean come on...ONE DROP OF THIS, two and a QUARTER DROPS OF THAT.... A 18th of 3 and a half drops of that one too.What???(*Eyes roam in disapproval*)He no longer calls me over from my me time on the sofa picking my notice how the box says gray but we got a balck one. No big deal as I preferred a black one for him.The display is amazeballs! Nice and large and lit!Great price too! FAST delivery as always.The buttons are easy to see and use even with my long fake nails since they are nicely spaced out and easy to feel after the first couple uses. I have another scale that belongs to me for my personal crafts, and he was always "borrowing" it (rolls eyes) so I thought a scale of his own would be appropriate.The buttons on my old one were sooo small i would find myself reaching for either a pen or a pencil's eraser to push the buttons because of my nails. And go figure that the scale I have is of a more known brand AND it costs double what this did. Yet this scale is nicer, feels studier and offers way more features than mine does. But now i can just "steal" my husband's. All is fair in love and war. Right?We collaborated the scale bed only once right after delivery and have not had to adjust or reset it not even once since.The display can be well seen even in dim environments. In the video I included, there is only one lamp on behind me. I grabbed the first small random things to weigh for this video.We received the legit named brand product exactly as pictured. I am very pleased with this purchase and how much space the scale bed holds while still remaining somewhat compact. Oh! and this is one of the few that weigh to a 0.000 of an oz. Many others do yes, but not many of this size category. I am very satisfied knowing that he loves this thing. He'll probably pout if he sees that i moved his scale from its "spot" on his vayble to the living room for a photo shoot. . I am happy with this purchase.It came with the bowl. We disnt use it. It does however, make a very handy dandy snack bowl for our cat.

I use this scale frequently. It functions consistently well. The accuracy is within the stated limits and the readings are reliable. The display has very large output window and numerals which is especially important to me. I also appreciate the connection to a/c current -- many small scales allow use only with batteries. The primary controls are intuitive, but there are special functions the use of which is not immediately clear without careful reading the instruction guide, and, like so many products these days, the print in the guide is EXTREMELY small. [Seniors and those with vision issues should keep this fact in mind.] The scale comes in two main pieces -- the scale and the bowl. The bowl is especially good for weighing items that tend to spill. However, this presents a storage issue since the two parts are very different in size and shape. If the scale remains on the counter, then there is no problem; however, if storage is required, it may be difficult to find an entirely appropriate location for both items together. The lid is hinged and flips up to open which can present some counter space problems, but at least you can be sure the lid will not be misplaced! If you are going to store this scale, then keep the original box to put it in! One final issue, the scale comes with two calibration weights. One weight was defective -- the small plug sealing the weight after final calibration had come loose and the lead insert had fallen out of the larger weight. I was able to reinsert the lead piece, but the plug will not remain in place. Going through the process of returns is more than I want, so I will keep it as it is; however, the indication is that manufacturing quality control is not doing a top notch job. I still give this scale a five star rating not only because of the reasons [pro] stated above but also because this is my third AWS scale, and all have proved most suitable for purpose intended and quite durable. AWS produces a fine scale at a reasonable price.
