Much easier to use than expected!
I was a little nervous about buying this because I'm not that technically inclined. However, I've recently signed up to NetFlix and my TV isn't a Smart TV, so on the advice of a friend, I bought this box.I spent a few minutes figuring out where everything plugged in, but it's actually very easy. Once it was connected and turned on, the TV found it automatically. Netflix is already installed, also YouTube and I think you can download others if you want to.The box takes up very little space, the remote is easy to use and the quality of the video is very good.

Blown Away With Performance Over WeTek Play Box
I’ve had android boxes since they first started appearing 5-6 years ago, long gone are the days where you were hard pushed to even find any apps that would install on them!A couple of years ago I invested in a WeTek Play box running some software called OpenElec, this would directly boot up into Kodi which could play movies and TV shows etc. However, given we recently upgraded to a 4K TV, I was disappointed to find that it would stutter on trying to play 4K movies – time for an upgrade!Being close to Christmas, I couldn’t really afford the new WeTek android box which is expected to be in the region of £150. So, I turned to Amazon hoping to find a suitable alternative.I’m always a little sceptical about buying unknown products, i.e. that aren’t from a reputable manufacturer. It’s always a bit of a gamble but am happy to say in this case it paid off!Firstly, I was surprised that for the price you get 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, them specs are huge at this price point. Also, a little research on the processor and graphics processor seemed to suggest this box was up to the task of 4K video. Now, another concern I had was the software of the box, due to the way certain manufacturers will configure the android system. Thankfully they had done the bare minimum and kept the navigation simple and intuitive.I’m pleased to report that 4K video work flawlessly, with the USB 3.0 port addition perhaps allowing this directly from a flash drive. Also, Kodi is preinstalled under ‘Video’ and ‘RDPlayer’ I believe it’s called, for anyone that can’t seem to find it or not believe it’s there.Overall great little addition to my media setup, can’t fault it!

Good build TV box
The media could not be loaded. Benchmarking shows that is good enough for my needs. I use it as a cast receiver, player and for simple games. Large ram helps as I don't need to close app after app to get it going. Good build TV box.

Super fast TV Box
This super fast TV Box comes with latest 8.1 Android OS with sufficient RAM of 4 GB to give you uninterrupted and smooth entertainment experience. It’s very sleek and lightweight but supports all the free media channels with all audio and video formats available on net. It don’t need any additional software to run rather it’s just plug and play. It has all needed cables for superb connectivity and gaming experience.

This TV box is a Confirmation
I bought this new model of TV box android to "upgrade" my parents' TV. (I own the previous model with Android 8.1 and it is still working without any problems)Inside the package I found: a charger, a hdmi cable and a remote controller.Analysing the specs and performance I can say that it can be used as a proper media player ( despite you can run Netflix only in standard definition due to license issues) in fact Its CPU/GPU ( RK3328/Mali450) allows to play smoothly videos up to 4k h265 @60fps and play videos up to 4k on YouTube.Speakibg about the I/O it comes with the following ports: 1 optical audio, 2 usb, LAN,an HDMI 2.0 and micro SD slot. It has also a built in memory of 64gb ( that in reality are less due to the presence of the operating system) that it can be expanded by using either a USB stick or micro SD.Taking a look at the remote controller, it does not allow voice commands but it has a primitive pointer functionality and is able to control also the tv. ( I also noticed a couple of changes in the buttons i.e. Kodi and apps button are replaced by help and led that at the end perform the same function). In any case to get the best experience I suggest using a wireless keyboard ( possibly with the touchpad ) and change the launcher (for example I'm currently using Nova launcher) Worth noticing that now it comes with Android 9.0, this new os version improves the overall system stability and device longevity.

Did not work, from out of the box...
I chose this item as it had good reviews and a comparably high spec.It would not boot up when connected to my new Samsung TV, the blue display on the box constantly read "boot" but apart from a brief "Android TV" screen saver appearing on my TV screen it went blank after a few seconds and it never worked. I used the "restore/factory reset" option several times to no avail. The non-functioning item has now been returned. Bad luck or bad quality control? A disappointing product for me. Good luck if you actually buy one.
