Best Sneakers ever made.
These are the only sneakers I will wear. This is my 3rd pair in as many years. They are very well made. The fit is excellent and they are extremely comfortable.I did replace the tie laces with the elastic type. It makes it easier and faster to put them on.My old pair will be used for yard and other dirty work. The older pair is going to the homeless shelter. They still look almost new.I would highly recommend these shoes to anyone that does mild hiking and long walks.

Love the treads but the uppers don't seem very sturdy...
I got the gray ones with blue laces but I returned them because I didn't think these shoes would last very long for me. I hike every day and wear my hiking shoes out pretty fast, usually within 3-6 months, so I've gone through A LOT of hiking shoes. Considering the price, I guess I was pretty disappointed with the quality of these shoes.I DO really like the treads on them (the treads are almost always the first thing to wear out on my hiking shoes) because I can tell these treads would take longer than usual for me to wear down. Considering how thick the treads are, this shoe still feels light and comfortable, and they still feel almost minimalist, which is nice. Anyways, it's not uncommon for me to eventually wear holes all the way through my hiking shoes but I suspect that the uppers on these would give out way before that happened. The uppers were the reason I returned these shoes. They've got a very loose feeling to them because the lacing spans nearly the whole upper part of the shoe (it's WAY wider than I'm used to) so it felt like I was relying entirely on those laces to keep the shoe together. I didn't trust the laces not to eventually break (they're not reinforced; they're mostly just canvas loops).I could also see all the areas where the bottom of the shoe was glued to the uppers, and I didn't trust that to last very long either. It's exactly how my last pair of Merrells died; the uppers got a small tear in the seam and before I knew it the whole side tore right off the shoe. Those shoes were less than half the price of this pair so I assumed these would be much better quality when I ordered (YMMV, but I returned them because they didn't SEEM like it to me).It also seems worth mentioning that these shoes didn't look much like the pictures once they were on my feet. The tongue is stuffed like a pillow or plush toy (it was weird), and the top sides and heel felt plushy too (I'd rather it be a little more structured and supportive). This technically makes them comfortable, but it sort of looked and felt like I was wearing stuffed slippers on my feet, which isn't what I want for a hiking shoe.I think these would probably be fine if you're just a casual hiker, but I'm not sure how long they'd stand up to serious every day use. It's the kind of fabric that will get pretty smelly and dirty (despite the ventilation they provide) and they definitely aren't gonna be good in wet weather, so keep that in mind too.
