100 Pokemon Cards Plus 10 Foil Holos and Learn to Play Pokemon Instructions

I was pretty worried about buying fake cards. I looked at these cards very hard. I think I was imagining things just to validate the bad feeling.So I ended up ripping one of the cards in half to look for the black center - My card did in fact have the black center. As far as I could tell these cards are authentic.I buy Pokemon cards to collect not to play, so my biggest fear was contaminating my authentic collection that I spend hundreds of dollars building up. My Pokemon addition is getting pretty expensive, so I wanted to try buying in a bulk lot like this one. It was stressful to wonder about the authenticity.BUT I am 95% certain that these cards are the real deal. If the cards are somehow fake, then they must be the best fakes in the world. I really dont think so though.I did blend my lot into my collection & each card blended perfectly. Every card was the correct sequence and matched the Pokemon as listed. From what I researched fake cards are misspelled, not blending into collections and of course the have no black center line.I ALSO ONLY COUNTED 1 DUPLICATE CARD IN THE ENTIRE LOT OF 100. FANTASTIC.PACKING AND SHIPPING WAS GOOD.SO I CAN HONESTLY RECOMMEND THESE CARDS FOR COLLECTING PURPOSES. I ACTUALLY JUST BOUGHT 2 MORE LOTS OF THESE SAME EXACT LISTING. SOLD BY ONLY GAME IN TOWN.AS LONG AS THE LOTS STAY LEGIT AND GOOD QUALITY, ONLY GAME IN TOWN WILL BE FILLING ORDERS FOR ME EVERY WEEK.

The pokemon cards are in very nice condition. I found two 1995 cards and 2007 cards. I also found one 2004 card as well. The rest are 2014 - 2018. The pack did come with one fossil restored card and ten trainer cards. The big mat under the cards is NOT included. Overall it is a good beginner pack or helpers for other collections.

So I will say that there were A LOT of duplicates (25 cards total), but it can be argued that some of the duplicates are different generations/versions. This worked out in my favor anyway because half of the cards were given to my wife. I got the exact amount of cards described (100 standard, 10 holos). There were no energy cards, so they’ll have to be purchased separately. The majority of the cards contain basic Pokémon. I was only given about 12 evolutions and 14 trainer cards. All in all, the cards were really good and it’s definitely a good start to collecting more.

Previously ordered cards for my son through Wayne Global, LLC and they were awful (In a lot of 100 cards, there were only 8 that were different. 22 of one card, 21 of another... you get the idea). I was wary of even ordering any cards from anywhere. I decided to pay a bit more and take a chance with "The Only Game in Town." Cards arrived quickly, in perfect condition (packaged well), AND there was only ONE card that was a duplicate. Only one! Highly recommend.

My son is 6 years old and wanted to “trade Pokemon cards” with his friends; I knew kids his age likely weren’t playing the game in earnest, so I opted for this multi-pack. Not only was he beside himself with excitement, but multiple parents have asked me where I found so many for such a good price. As others have stated, it’s a decent variety with only a few duplicates. No energy cards, but plenty of trainers and basic Pokemon. 10/10!

My kids love this set. They haven't received any doubles in a pack. We have bought a couple sets and they have all been different.

My 6 year old just got into Pokémon cards and his little brother (4) wanted to join in, so this was a gift for both of them and perfect when all they really want to do it look at the pictures and talk about how cool they are. Yes, there were duplicates. I would say 30 of the 100 cards were duplicates, but this wasn’t a problem for us, if anything it was a positive for more even/easy distribution of the cards. The holo cards were nothing special and duplicates of some of the normal ones we received, but again, not a deal breaker for us. All the cards were in excellent condition, especially considering once my sons have them for a week they are going to quickly deteriorate.If you area serious collector, these are not for you. Just for those getting their feet wet to determine if this is just a phase or a lifelong passion.Also, as noted by other reviewers there were no instructions with these cards, just a card with a website. I get the rules are long and complicated, but the description should be updated, or the seller should make a good faith effort to put together a starter guide themselves to help beginners.As for presentation, I am not sure what to expect. They were in 3 clear plastic sleeves — the foils in an open ended one, and 50 per resealable sleeve, but they are not going to last. We are going to have to find another storage method in the future, which I am sure Amazon can help me find.

Ordered these for my son when he started grade school and suddenly found himself in the grip of the Pokemon frenzy. He absolutely loves his cards. Brought a huge smile and joy to him, which brought me joy.
