I have a mate who does house clearances. I am in-between places to live. I 'borrowed' a flat screen TV off him. When I got it home, I realised it's a 720i. And it does not have 1 HDMI port, let alone 'just' 2 or 3. It's got 2 SCART sockets, VGA (PC), DVI (forerunner of HDMI), a one plug composite-in, S Video, and RGB/YPbPr.I tried a Fire Stick and a HDMI-DVI converter plug... the converter worked but the Fire Stick was working in a way the TV was not happy with ('out of range' error message), so... not the right solution for this job. (And if it DID work OK I would still be having to use an HDMI sound-vision splitter to divert sound away and put it into the TV round the back).I tried the HDMI to VGA conversion. This sort-of worked, but for some reason the whole page shunted 'left' and the picture size was impossible to resize and get it centred. (As well there'd be the thing about plugging the sound round the back of the telly).I tried an HDMI to SCART conversion box and - yes - it worked BUT it was watching via SCART on a flatscreen TV, (you see how bad SCART is - which you never did when it was an old fashioned telly doing its 625 line thing hiding the lack of definition, as with SCART in the 90s). I did not want to watch Fire TV when it was all blurry.Then... I had a go using this. The picture is a little large, about 10% too-big losing a little strip around each edge, but perfectly aspected and centred on the middle. I can live with that. This thing comes with the left and right audio cables integrated within the box, which helps. There's a slight amount of interference on-screen, but after 6 feet distance you cannot see it. You have to (obviously) get the right colour lead in the right colour hole, mine did not match each other so I had to do trial and error, but you can see when the picture is right (and I'm colour blind and still I can get it right).Works a treat.

Needed a Slimport device to view photos/video taken on a Pentax KP. I tried the Belfen unit in place of rather more expensive units and can say that although not listed in the compatible devices it does work perfectly with the Pentax KP. It is compact, very lightweight and well made. Very satisfied with it!

Works great to connect my 2017 MacBook pro with an older monitor, that only has a VGA input. It has the additional speed required for video.

I hear you cry.Yes amazing, I can actually smell the leather and whilst some other reviews have stated there being a chemical smell present I can concur that whilst it exists you can also smell the leather too, which if I'm honest was really not that overpowering.I guess different people like different things, I can tell you if a can of diet coke is going out of date in the next three months just by taste...but that's a whole other review, there are far worse smells and I found it reassuring of the quality and cleanliness of the item.Now that's out of my system, there is nothing else quite like this item on the UK market, so versatile, I had quite the quandary when I purchased, fearful for how a purse could double as a crossbody too, I needn't of worried, the answer is fabulous!Size is on point to be used as an everyday purse for your handbag, yet large enough not to look silly as a standalone crossbody bag.So much room, perfect for lunch break at work, most of the time I can't be bothered to take my bag out just to refuel, so normally have to carry my purse and phone...not any more, best of all I look quite stylish doing it.Would love to see this in a burgundy and a black lining inside the purse, as I have the olive green purse the brown lining works well, but black is more neutral, better still olive green with an orange lining could be an idea...far out!Additionally, whilst this is the ultimate Swiss army wallet, it is worth noting some of the colourways mine included, come with lining stitched card holders, some come with proper leather holders as per the purse external colour, whilst the fabric cardholders are well stitched and unlikely to tear easily, leather holders would add to its premium feel. lastly I would love to see this purse in an all over smooth leather finish too, just because it would further the products timeless appeal, plus Swiss army wallet collecting has become my hobby and you can never have enough of a good thing.All in all an absolute must have, probably the best purchase I have made in a long time.

Works very well with my Xbox one and Ps4. I previously used a 2m one and that worked fine but due to the length I had to buy a longer oneI can't complain about the picture or sound quality and would recommend this to anyone.

Astonishingly good. I recently parted with my AV separates system and purchased a good soundbar. It was only after setting it up I realised that there is no way of connecting my record deck (Used about 2 - 3 times a year) to the soundbar.The only connection left on the soundbar was a Toslink input. Not wanting to sell my record collection but not holding much hope I searched for a converter and dismissed dozens working the other way... optical to analogue. Then I came across the Belfen which I ordered. To my utter amazement, it not only worked perfectly but music played from my deck through the soundbar sounds amazing.Would recommend this very highly, just remember it is analogue in (Phono in) an optical (Toslink) out. Also if you use it as I did to connect a record deck depending on its output you may still need a preamp.
