Awesome gun.very accurate
I can’t believe Nerf combined two series.to flip up the sight, you have two press and hold an orange button near the handle then slide/push the sight up or down depending on what position it is already in.It comes with the grip already up.So you would have to slide/push it down.If the grip is already down then you would push/slide it up.It is a single shot gun so it is not supposed to shoot 2 or 3 darts at once. When it comes you have to attach the dart storage and sight. The sight is pretty detailed. If you enemy is in the middle, there are arrows in the pointing to him/her/it.The sight is tall and thin. There is a gap in the middle of the sight allowing you to see your target. The sight is accurate to.All in all,the gun is accurate, has a great amount of ammo and is fun to play with.If you don’t seem to see the sight It is at the back of the box.I will be receiving an Elite 2.0 Volt SD-1 on Friday so make sure you look for my review!😀

Solid buy if you're a modder
A few YouTube Nerfers complained about the sight. The sight is pretty similar, if not exactly like, a vernier sight. This type of sight is useful for accounting for the drop of a projectile over a distance. It takes work but figuring out how to use it should let you score hits a bit farther out than a usual straight shot. It's interesting to see Nerf trying to use the concept of increased accuracy (when they can) with the Accustrike line. The only issue with this blaster is the stock length. While Nerf states very clearly not to mod their blasters, basically everyone does. It isn't difficult to remove the stock and still have the rest of the blaster work (with some tinkering). It's also very easy to replace the stock completely. That's what 3D printers are for. Let me be clear, I'm not a "Nerfer". I started buying them to mod them. I figured it would help me develop my skills with 3D modeling and printing. The Bulldog was a great opportunity for me.

Hits hard. Kinda chincy, but good for the price.
Toy is great! Though ignore the suction power having 1 star, that's only because it doesn't use suction darts.

Fun
Grandsons really liked them. They are sturdy and a lot of fun for the boys. No problems with mechanics of nerf. Easy for them to enjoy.

Pretty much unusable collapsed. 10 yard range max with Accustrike darts.
Conceptually, this blaster is cool. Collapsible, six rounds, compact (even when extended), and rear charging with a large pull. What I was disappointed about is it's pretty much worthless collapsed as your thumb/back of hand hits the back of the stock. I was hoping to have it as more than a pistol when not extended. When extended the length of the stock is laughable (can't really shoulder it unless you're a three year old). The Accustrike darts have a HORRIBLE range in this blaster. Standard Mega darts can almost double the distance. Night and day.

Not for a 4 year old
When I was growing up, we played with toy guys, pop guns...so why wouldn't my kid enjoy a nerf gun? its fun playing it at home but he's too young and the overall public is too sensitive now to my 4 year old pretending to point and make little shooting noises. They're quality made and cool and all.....but my kid was way too young. my fault.

11 year old's review
"This gun is very accurate. It's mobile and easy for me to handle. Recommended as a first Nerf gun for any age. It's easy to load and easy to cock. I use this one for capture the flag 'cuz it's super easy to kill people."
