Roger Corman Drive-In Collection

Roger Corman, what is not to love. They look like public domain copy so don't expect any high fidelity. In fact expect the opposite

Mr Corman's schlock lives. For that my rating should be a 5, but 3 is for the movies in general. Fun watch if taken with a open mind. Mr Corman did a lot on a limited budget.

The DVD is unwatchable. The picture for all the movies is so washed out you can't even tell what you are watching. The sound is only marginally better. A complete waste of money even at only 11 dollars. I threw mine out after trying to sit through 3 of the movies. All the movies look and sound as bad as any I have ever seen on a DVD.

I remember these when I was a kid. Great stuff...

Most of the stories were shot in black and white. Together with very poor, grainy images I simply could not waste my time to go through them. These disc's are now in my trash bin. Go for it only if you are a film historian.

Like all films, it comes down to personal taste, so I won't review them, just list them. They are: The Beast from the Haunted Cave, The Wild Ride, The Fast and the Furious, T-Bird Gang, and High School Big Shot.

Excellent value. Six really good films especially Primal Fear which I've been after for some time.
