Could be better!
Upon unboxing the knife is quite beautiful, and has a really nice and comfortable handle.I've now had the knife for a few months and have been quite unimpressed by it if I'm honest, and dont really use it any more. for a paring knife the blade is much too thick - it's thicker than my santoku's and chef knife - this, for me, makes the knife difficult to use as intended. I also noticed after a few weeks that the rear bolster is also coming loose. All in all, not one of my best purchases.

A pleasure to own and use for the keen cook
Excellent quality, super sharp and good to grip. I was looking to add to my John Lewis Japanese steel utility knives but they appear to have discontinued the "own brand" line. I'm almost certain that these are from the same manufacturer as the "wood grain" appearance of the steel and the type, shape and finishing of the handle seem identical. Great value to!

Okay
The edge does not keep for very long, it’s very pretty though

A thorobread!
Beautifully crafted, high quality item. Cuts with ease. Highly recommended and a great addition to my current set of knives. I've not encountered better quality at such a competitive price.
