Unique Loom Sialk Hill Collection Area Rug - Washington (9' 10" x 13' 1" Rectangle Burgundy/Cream)

For context, I am an ethnic Persian who has real-deal antique hand-knotted silk rugs in other rooms, but they are all smaller than this. My new co-op requires 100% carpeting over the hardwood, but a real Persian rug of this size would be exorbitantly expensive. Like, 5k-10k minimum. Yeah, you can tell its not silk under your feet (both the acrylic scratchiness and it's quite coarsely woven, the machine knots are very far apart) especially when you've just stepped off a real rug in another room, but as a way to avoid something as gross and impossible to keep clean as wall-to-wall carpeting, it's great. It has the correct look and richness of color, and it's pretty convincing at a casual glance. Your guests probably wont even notice if they are wearing socks or slippers, or if they don't see real rugs very often. Use it in a high traffic area where you need something you can easily roll up and drop off at a cleaner every once in awhile. And for literally 1/100th of the price of a real carpet, it's a great deal to quickly cover a large room. It's kinda like finding something shockingly useful at the dollar store.

The Rug was easy to place (didn't need a rug gripper since it was the largest size available (9.10 x 14.1)There were two creases (light) when it arrived. It was easy to get rid of them by putting them out on the driveway surface outside in the sun (the heat melts out the creases quickly - in less than a couple of hours.) These were not bad creases. I've ordered rugs before smaller that had seemingly permanent creases, this one was handled with more care. The quality for the price is excellent! There pattern is flattering to any room and beautiful. You can't go wrong if you want an affordable alternative to high end rugs without the price. It Isn't too heavy for its size and it just what you want when you want something that looks good but is affordable.

It's been more than a few weeks since I unrolled the tightly wrapped rug/runner. It has three or four wrinkles that won't go away. I have tried pressing on top of a light cotton cloth over rug, to no avail. I have also anchored heavy items over the corners and these wrinkles to no avail. The corners will be flat for about a day and then recurl. I'm now trying velcro tape.Beautiful rug, not too plush, but soft with pad underneath. Wish wrinkles would go away.UPDATE SEVERAL MONTHS LATER: Beautiful! Wrinkles went away by putting rug and runner on a more solid floor. Put on tile floor rather than laminate plank flooring and within a few days wrinkles were gone! Plush and great to walk on!

Looks like it costs much more than we spent. High quality, vibrant colors, no weird smell. Really brightens up our living room. Love it! Will purchase more from this brand.

Nice area rug that is priced well and has performed well since we bought it a year ago for our family room.

I bought 2 of these (10' x 13' and 8' x 10') for my master bedroom and sitting area after installing hardwood flooring. I opted for the inexpensive rugs since my tiny Yorkie prefers the short trip to the carpet vs using the doggie door at night and it's the reason we changed out carpeting for the hardwood flooring in the first place. Something nice looking AND inexpensive is what I was going for since I expect to break out the steam cleaner every now and again.The rugs and 1/4" rug pads arrived within days of ordering. The 8 x 10 arrived rolled while the 10 x 13 arrived folded. The rugs are a little thin and is one reason I bought the rug pads. The other reason was I wanted rug pad with rubber under it to protect the hardwood flooring in the event my fur baby opted for carpet vs the lawn.I unfolded both the rug pad and 10 x 13 rug and placed them where I would need to move the bed back to. I have a king 4 poster Tuscan bed that has to be taken apart to be moved; it weighs a ton. It was originally moved to the sitting room area so I could paint that bedroom side and we were now ready to move the bed back. There are some wrinkles in the rug due to it being folded for shipping but I figured that would go away over time. Other than that, the rug looks so awesome with the bright red and gold on the Acacia hardwood floor. However, as beautiful as everything looks right now, the overwhelming chemical carpet smell has overshadowed everything else!I've been up since 2:15 am! I've had the sliding door open for 2 days hoping that the smell would go away quicker! Thankfully, it's now in the 60s at night here in Phoenix so it's bearable to sleep with doors and windows open this time of year. You'd think the smell would be lessened with the door open... but NOOOOOOO!!! It's 4:30 am and I'm out on the couch irritated as heck contemplating how to pull the rug out from under that heavy bed! I guess I'll be shopping locally for the rugs. I have one that we bought at Home Depot about 15 years ago and that one is still in excellent shape and better yet, it never smelled!Anything that puts out a smell like this cannot be good to breathe long term. Carpets can have high VOCs and this would be one of them.

Beautiful pattern, soft on feet; the best small area rug I have found lately

I like the colors and pattern in this rug, and it's made very nicely. The burnt orange goes with other colors I have around it. Since I had some gift card money and rewards points, I decided to buy the 6x9 size. There were some folds on the one end that didn't lay flat for about the first month. I put some heavy furniture legs on that end so as I walk on the rug more, it's started to straighten out more. I consider this a nice buy.

Product quality is too good

The carpet was a very competitive price, even with the expensive shipping from the US. It arrived quickly, sooner than forecast, and was well packaged. I've bought carpet tape, to help keep it flat as it has a tendency to bunch up - hopefully, that will diminish over time. I've very happy with the workmanship and how it looks in the room.

Il tappeto è davvero bello, non riesco a caricare la foto. Mi è arrivato però diverso come colore. Avevo scelto marrone e nella foto è chiaramente scuro con il bordo marrone scuro, il nostro invece è sul beige con i disegni marroni e sfondo marrone chiaro. Comunque è bello esteticamente e nella consistenza. Sta molto bene nel salone, quindi lo consiglio. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.
