Do these have nuts/ or made around items with nuts?

No. They are perfect for a two year old.

What are the eyes made of?

The eyes are hard plastic that is very tightly attached. I believe they are safe and a child would not be able to get them off.

This set includes elephant, tiger, parrot, giraffe, monkey, and zebra - there is no lion hand puppet in the set. We do have a puppeteer puppet where you use one hand to manipulate the puppet's mouth and facial expressions, and the other to gesture with the wooden arm rod. That puppet is our Rory puppet #2568.

Will these fit adult hands?

Yes they fit on large adult woman's hand. Tight for a larger male

Colorful, creative animal puppets

If the child’s hand is too small they can’t actually work the puppet like they want so they get frustrated. Go them for my 2 1/2 year old grandson. He could ultimately only put his hand in the “head” but not do the arms …. But it did encourage us to have “conversations “ between the two animals. Him being one animal and me pretending to be voices. In hindsight, I’d give the puppets a great review : brilliant colors, even easy to clean if you get peanut butter on them (ha ha) but take into consideration the size / age of the child. We struggled a bit.

Lovely puppets
