Colonel Conk No.930 Double Edge Safety Razor

This is actually a Weishi 9306-C, a very solid twist-to-open razor with a mild blade exposure. What Col. Conk calls "charcoal" is nowhere near as black as the picture shows; some other sellers call this "gunmetal". It's a grayish color, not as shiny as the chrome or nickel finish most razors have. The razor looks quite elegant, and if you shave every day the mild exposure will be just what you need. If you like to let several days' stubble accumulate you will find that a more aggressive razor is a better choice. This razor will force you to learn good technique, because with the wrong angle it simply won't cut hair. A great learning tool, and a good longterm razor if you shave every day.

This is a Weishi 9306C, the razor is not bad at all but don't expect German quality. The razor is small and mild so its a good starter razor. The finish is very nice gunmetal color but I fear it will fade or rust eventually. For the price its good for starters but for around the same price point I recommend the feather popular plastic body. It is longer and shaves better but has a plastic handle. Both razors are good for the price but the feather popular is better IMO. YMMV.

Even comes in a box labeled as such (nice little travel case for it BTW). After using it about 6 weeks I have to say it is just easy and a pleasure to use this razor. It is a very mild razor, with no fuss the blade aligns strait every time. I have used several types of blades in this razor and the only one that was horrible was the one that it comes with. Throw that one in the trash. Put in any reputable brand of DE and you'll love it. If you like an aggressive razor, this isn't for you. If you are like me and like one that is forgiving and easy, especially early in the morning look no further.

It shaved well but it does not have much heft. I went back to my old Gillette Fat-boy but I use this for travel.

My very first safety razor. I have to say, there is a bit of a leaning curve, but that takes nothing away from the quality of the product itself. Built solid, user friendly, and works well...

This thing is pretty spiffy, and shiny. It wasn't black as in the picture though, which was disappointing. It is a razor, so I am not to worried about making it match an outfit.

This razor cut up my neck there was blood everywhere!! Do not use this razor unless you are suicidal.

I was looking for a good introduction to safety razors, and this is it. It is a great razor big enough for my large hands but small enough to do the job. This function of this razor is flawless, it opens smoothly and cleans easy. I have used for only a month but love it and don't see a need to buy a more expensive razor.
