These shoes are fabulous and long lasting! I used them for an outdoor show, so they got a TON of wear and while the soles are worn from the cobblestones, they're still in good enough condition to wear them out in the day to day. After dancing in them for 4 hours a day that first week, I did decide to add insoles for a little more comfort on my arch. They are pretty flat, but if I was just using them as a casual shoe, I don't think it would have bothered me. The sole has great grip, they fit true to size, and the zipper is sturdy. The only complaint I have is the laces are almost a bit waxy and don't stay tied for very long. I ended up double knotting them and that helped. The shiny crocodile look to them is amazing, I'm very satisfied with this shoe purchase.

True to size. Color is solid throughout. The boots are comfy, pliable but sturdy feeling. They look great with jeans and dresses.

I have wide feet and high arches, and as I've aged, I find regular-width shoes tight across the middle of my feet. I typically have good luck buying shoes in 8.5W. However, I could barely even get on these boots in 8.5WW (I went wider than normal based on comments here). I then went a full size up to 9.5WW (so one size longer and wider than my normal size) and the boots fit well with a thin sock (quite tight with thick wool socks). They don't feel long despite being labeled a larger size. I'm hoping they might break in and accommodate a thick sock later, but I'm not worried if they don't. I'm very pleased that I was able to find a size that works, and they are very cute. Can't speak to durability, etc. Based on my experience, I recommend sizing up, or you're likely to be dealing with a return. YMMV.

These are honestly so classic and versatile and feminine without being boring. You can wear them with an A-line skirt for a more collegiate look or jeans and a simple top/sweater for a fall outing or even a knee-length utility skirt or maybe even the right peasant dress. They can work to bump up a casual fit but they're dressy enough to hold their own with a nicer ensemble. I bought the dark brown, but they are dark enough to work with a lot of looks. I just wore them with black tights and an army green mini skirt and a tunic style blouse. I usually wear an 8.5 and usually a wide shoe fits better. I ordered the 8.5 *extra* wide just to be safe. And my shoe is so roomy... it almost feels too big, but only because I'm used to shoes hugging my foot. In retrospect, I would not have bought the extra width. As a bonus, it gives me more space to add an insert since there's not a ton of cushioning (it's not bad at all, but I like a softer shoe. I really do like the shoe. I have worn them to work (at a daycare) several times and not had any pain being on and off my feet for hours. One thing you might want to know is that the cuff around the ankle is rather thick, heavy, and stiff which can be a bit irritating if you bend your ankles back a lot when you sit as it digs in... I think it will break in enough to eventually be fine, and really that's such a minor issue to me.

I have a pair of these shoes, I Love them, I have worn them out, so i bought this 2 times in hope i can enjoy another pair, they are stiff and uncomfortable. I'm so sorry because I love the pair I have, So I will hopefully find someone to put a new sole on them for me,

I saw these and fell in love with them a few months ago, but the price point was way too much for me. When I saw they had dropped the price, I jumped at them, because they were perfect, and marked as being in my size. I have very wide feet, and finding boots that look like this for my costuming is nearly impossible, so I ordered them in the extra wide option and prayed they would be all right. The boots arrived and when I took them out of the box, they were beautiful, perfect... And definitely NOT wide width. I got them on, and they are very tight around the ball of my foot. I'll have to do a lot of work to stretch them out enough to be comfortable. All in all, I guess I can't complain too much, hence the three stars.One for prompt service, one for the lovely quality of the product, one for the look of the product, and minus two because of the lack of decent fit in the order. I'll update if I can get them stretched out enough to be comfortable. I'd return them, but I need them for dressing up for some events and don't have time to hunt down and order others.

I received this item rather quickly, a lot earlier than the expected arrival which was a plus! The boots are very cute and fit really nicely! I opted for a wide width on the off chance that they would run narrow and I’m glad I did, they’re very comfortable!

I have square feet, and often have trouble finding comfy, close toed, shoes. These didn’t pinch my toes at all! They were kinda loose in my ankles though, and they didn’t have a built in cushion in the sole. I bought gel insoles for them, and because of the x-wide space, they had the perfect amount of room to add the comfort without making my foot feel squished (like most boots I have.) I wore these ALL over the UK in all sorts of terrain, and wether, and these shoes held up beautifully! I’ve had them for 5 months now and they have virtually no signs of wear and tear. I absolutely love them! Also their cute vintage design is a big bonus!
