TOBBI Puppy Pet Potty Training Pee Indoor Outdoor Toilet Dog Grass Pad Mat 30"x20"

It took a couple weeks for my year and a half old dog to start using this for potty, but once she figured it out, and she got treats and told”good girl use potty pad” she uses it very well. She prefers just going #1 in the pad, but I expect her to get better at it with more time. Sometimes #2’s land on the edges still, but that’s ok (those have always been preferred by me to clean up anyhow). The product itself is fine in its construction and size.Also of note, maybe it’s my smeller, but my dog only pees maybe a half cup at a time, and I don’t smell a thing after a week of occasional use. My plan is to start putting standard potty pads under the grass for easier clean up. The sizes don’t translate perfectly, but it should work fine.

My puppy did use this outside and is used to artifical pet grass. As soon as we moved it indoors she took to tearing it up. We gave it a break and went back to the leaking potty pads and tried again. She went on it fine and was being better with it. Within an hour of her quiet time she had it torn to tons of grass pieces all over her puppy den and pee was everywhere after she turned it over. It is a good size and clever idea, but it wasn't right for my lab puppy even at 10 weeks. Since we have to pay shipping to return, we may keep it and try when she's older. The grass is just terrible quality. We may replace with the more expensive puppy grass we had outdoors from Home Depot that works wonderfully. As a working puppy parent, I was hoping for a better product to eliminate puppy pads that aren't as environmentally sound and leak all the time. At least she doesn't tear those up like this product.

I bought this as a result of the positive reviews. My 6 lb Yorkie and 15 lb Shitzu took to it as I had already trained them to pads. In my opinion, this is only good for very small dogs. My Shitzu could barely fit on it. Also, it's a nightmare trying to clean. The first time I tried to clean it was a nightmare. You can wash and dry the tray and the middle section. But, the fake grass holds onto the urine and, I cannot get it to dry. My dogs don't go out in the rain, because they don't like getting their paws wet. Well, they always get their paws wet with this. I'm having to put pads under the grass to catch the urine. I have to clean behind them and chase them to clean their feet. Wet, urine paw prints everywhere. I'm upset how much I paid for it and now I just ordered a different one and hope this new one will be better.

It's a good product unfortunately my puppies are a little slow to catch on they use it maybe 50 % of the time for those times that they just can't go out ... I have a feeling it's a texture thing . Very easy to clean and a great Concept for dogs who are housebound or older dogs.

So my poor old dog is in congestive heart failure and can't go down the steps. So I put this on the porch and he goes on that. No pee on my porch and clean up is easy.

I use this every day for my Dachshund. He has been potty trained to it and it works amazing!! I even bought two so I could take one when I travel with my baby!

Urine smell did not come out after cleaning

Great for potty training when a yard isn’t available. Easy to clean.
