It is convenient to be able to fold it up small but I encourage people to go to youtube to get instructions on how to do so. The only negative I have about this item is that one half of my screen has permanent wrinkles.

So I agree completely with a couple of previous reviewers. This is perfect for the serious hobbyist and photographer who needs something light and portable. As a hobbyist I've been wanting one of these forever but the prices were out of my league given that I am a hobbyist. Price was right so I gave this one a try. The color on the brown side is spot on. My blue/purple side is much lighter, more of a lavender but that is fine with me. It does have some wrinkles but I don't think they will photograph that way - and if left popped open I think they would smooth out, or you could probably steam them out. Exactly what I needed for a price I could justify. I did need a Youtube video to collapse it back down as others mentioned too.

Good frame.. a bit more solid than many I have seen. Makes it a bit more difficult to collapse but once you get the trick it is OK. The colors are a bit odd as there is some green in the blue that I have to control in post processing.. same with the brown.. different tones mixed in. Would rather it was pure blue and brown but manageable.

I have adorable kids and a DSLR. I got this backdrop because my kids school photos were awful (forced smiles, awkward posture). I have some fabric backdrops but this is my only collapsible backdrop. I love it. It has a brown side and a darker royal blue side. The backdrop can be very complicated to pack up but that inconvenience is easily weighed against the fact that you can set it up in seconds and it doesn't need to be ironed or steamed.I can't speak to the utility if you are a professional photographer. As a hobbyist, it's perfect.

Like the background colors and the ability to fold it up, but the fabric seems to have lost it's elasticity (tightness) over time.

Since I don't have a permanent studio I looked at collapsible backdrops as a convenient way to store and hang backdrops quickly and neatly! This is a great addition to my gear: it folds up to a very manageable size, easy for me to load it in the car to take on location. Colors are EXACTLY as shown in the photo-example. Could not beat this price!!! It comes in a nice zippered circular pouch, and one of the best things is it doesn't take any effort to set up (or put away) AND it doesn't wrinkle like my conventional backdrops! The size is suitable for 3/4 length and headshot-style portraits. Worth every penny!

Colors are awfully bright (just like the picture, so my own fault for ordering). Otherwise, really nice for the money.
