Shomer-Tec Stinger Key Chain

These are made out of very durable plastic and before I bought it I was worried that the plastic might be flimsy and I thought the key hole might break off. But no, it is solid highly durable plastic and nothing is going to break or bend. So if you are worried about it's durability you can stop worrying, because it's a solid as a rock.These also are as light as a feather so you can attach it to your key ring without having it be weighted down.It's not quite as comfortable in my hand as I'd hoped it would be, but it would still function quite adequately. I like to put the tip out between my two middle fingers or out between my pointer and middle fingers while making sure the back end of it is pushed up against the meaty part of my thumb muscle, not pushed up against my palm. And I hold it so the ring is pointing down.I put a Break Away Key Ring on it then attach it to my key ring. Item was exactly as pictured. I wish it didn't say "combat technologies inc" on the side, because some who finds it on you (unless they are police) would not immediately realize it was a weapon... I know it's the company name, but it sort of says "hey, this is weapon" right on it... Minor quibble.The product itself is very sturdy and fits well in my hands (which are pretty small for a guy my size). I agree with another reviewer, unless you feel justified in using deadly force I would not recommend using this to punch someone in the head. You could kill them.I wanted a small, lightweight, concealable tool for self defense and this is perfect. If you take long walks at night or live in a rough area (or just have common sense), I recommend this and some pepper spray. If the pepper spray fails, this tool is excellent and gives me confidence that one or two punches in the ribs could end most fights

I purchased this item as a gift for a family member who lives in a city which bans just about all weapons. I needed something for him which could be easily concealed, yet readily accessible when needed. This key chain attachment fit the bill. when held in the hand the pointed end protrudes between the ring and middle finger providing a solid, pain inducing jolt upon impact, thus surprising an attacker and hopefully giving the potential victim a chance to get away safely. Being made from a strong plastic similar to that used for firearms makes for strength and durability while not being prone to rust. A light, pocket sized non-lethal self defense item available at low cost, I HIGHLY recommend it.

Got one for my daughter... taught her how to use it to inflict the maximum damage on any stupid would-be attacker. The world is full of creeps and I can't be there to always protect her... hopefully this little devise will help level the playing field.

I have kept this stinger in my pocket unattached to keys. It fits my hand wonderfully and takes up very little room in the pocket. It can be in my hand in my pocket as I walk to my car at night after work.

Love this thing, had one in black for years but it fell off my old ass carabiner (which I replaced when I lost it) got this one and love it more! I feel safer for real, all the times I walked around and didn't have it I really had more anxiety for sure. Received this quickly and in perfect condition. Thank you.

THIS IS A GOOD TOOL/ TO HAVE WITH YOU AT ALL TIMES AND IT IS GREAT AND EASY TO PUT ON YOUR KEYS SO IT IS EASY TO GET AND YOU WILL KNOW WHERE IT IS AT ALL TIMES. I CAN'T SAY HOW WELL IT WORKS AND I HOPE I DON'T HAVE TO BUT I WILL HAVE IT WHEN I NEED IT

Have not had to use it and hope I never do. But it is now hooked to my keychain just in case. It should include something to fit in the hole to attach to something though.....very thick plastic there and it was difficult to find something to use to attach.....
