General Electric WB27X10985 Microwave Thermostat , grey

Got the job done - I opened up my microwave which had blown one of the thermostats, and replaced it with this. It was a slightly different part (the model number on the thermostat was 111 or 112 instead of KSD110 as listed on this one. But it did the job and got my microwave working again.I wasn't expecting the product to be a bit cheaper- probably around $10-15, but it saved me from having to go out and buy a whole new microwave, so I'm glad.

The general electric microwave part was not quite the same as the one that failed, but it cured the problem and our microwave is working. Thank you for your reviews, that verified that this part would work. 😊

This part was replacement for microwave.

This gadget is really just a fuse. A normal fuse protects against too much current. This protects against too high temperature. It makes no sense to replace a failed part with an identical one so you have to convince yourself that the original died doing its job. If you were smart enough to troubleshoot a device and know what part to order, it would be nice to see the specifications of the replacement part. Ah, but that must be kept secret lest you find an identical part at a fraction of the cost. At $25 a pop, one might think this component is overpriced especially when it is offered elsewhere for five or six dollars. If you want to buy a box of them the price falls to less than a buck a piece. Why did I pay so much for this item? Maybe so I could write this review. Anyway, the repair was successful so I am happy.

Made my GE microwave work again. This is the TCO that goes on the far side of the unit, away from all the wiring, magnetron, etc

Worked well

Replaced it and another part and both immediately blew out when I plugged i in.

Part worked as it was supposed to and got my microwave back up and running.
