Incredible multi use tool
This probably one of the best most versatile tools I own. It’s a beast in terms of suction. On top of standard uses, I use it tool vacuum leaves in my yard between the fence and the deck. When I drain my hot tub, there’s. a few gallons that are left that I used to have to use a crappy expansive 1 HP pump for. This takes care of it in a fraction of the time. The blower is also as strong as my battery leave blower. The only minor flaw is the tools all have points onto the body while not using them but they fall off easily. Otherwise A+.

Bulky, but awesome
It's way too big for my purposes (16gal).Thats the worst thing I can say about it.I absolutely love this vac. Granted I have nothing else to compare it to because it's my first shop vac, but it's done everything I've needed it to. Suction is more than adequate for literally anything I throw at it.Bought it in 2020 (2025 now) for $109, and I've been able to count on it ever single time. This is an excellent shop vac for the adequately-sized shop. Now for my pedantic complaints:My garages have been small, so it's been a bit of overkill. Even though it's relatively light, it's impossible to stow away out of sight if you have limited space. The general design is bulky and the attachment storage over the casters sticks out far enough to keep you from fitting flush, anywhere. In hindsight, I should've bought a more compact, and mountable model. The attachments are large and clearly designed for heavier, real world shop and industrial applications. For example, you're not going to get into tight spaces with the crevice tool because the opening is about the size of your thumb's width.I bought the handle attachment (CMXZVBE38639), as well as the floor brush (CMXZVBE38633).I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a shop vac.

Excellent vac with a fiasco product experience
CRAFTSMAN 12 Gallon 6.0 Peak HP Wet/Dry Vac, Portable Shop Vacuum with Attachments is my second Craftsman shop vac. My first was the 16 gallon and there are noticeable differences between the two sizes. The only reason I don't have the 16 gallon is because of a not so honest person we dealt with selling our house so I gave away many items that I still needed, due to him giving us false closing info....anyway on to more interesting things to talk about. This 12 gallon shop vac is very very light weight. The 16 gal not so much.Attachments, canister, hose are all smaller in size than the 16 gal which I like.Suction is just 1 /2 mini horse smaller than the 16 gal but it suctions just as well and even better! Why better? Because the 1/2 (higher) mini horse power made the vacuum suction TO the floor with any attachments on it. Where as this vac suctions extremely well, draws up EVERYTHING from dust to concrete chunks AND doesn't suction its self TO the floor. I had to literally always shut off the 16 gal vac to get it to let GO of the floor when it had the floor attachment on. The crevice tool was never a problem.Comes with several attachments and the hose pieces. Once you put the hose pieces together they are VERY difficult to pull apart. They are very tight fitting, so that's a pro, the not pulling apart easily is a con but better than them not fitting together. Had the same problem with the 16 gal.We had to gently but firmly mallet the feet on. They are supposed to snap on....nope.Cons & my fiasco experience:My shop vac arrived WITHOUT screws of ANY kind. Zero, nada, zilch...none. Sooooo, I called Amazon customer service. Long story short they were going to give me a $17 discount for no screws but I felt this was a screwy offer - yes pun intended.WHY should I take that offer? The screws SHOULD have been included...PERIOD. I didn't want a discount, I wanted the screws to attach the hose holders and handle!Fiasco #2. - 6 lid teeth were broken off in shipping. So when the Amazon customer service person hears me griping about his $17 offer, I brought up the broken teeth which he then tried to grill me on why am I bringing this up NOW ? He didn't believe me.I didn't bring it up because I was calling to get missing screws. The teeth are important but don't affect the performance overall. The lid has locks on two sides to hold it down. BUT again, I paid full price for this vac sooooo.....Long story short I submitted photos of the broken teeth, told him I'd have to make an effort to replace and match/ find the right screws and/ or glue on the handle with construction cement (fiancé is going to do this) .I demanded a steeper discount and he FINALLY listened and gave it.I'm VERY pleased with this Craftsman shop vac. It performs like a pro, iand s easy on the pocket book.A+++++ ratingB and half of a minus grading for customer service.

It gets the job done.
This vacuum does the job I needed done - picking leaves and other debris in my greenhouse. I needed the 2.5 inch nozzle, but this is huge. It also takes an hour to put together, so if you are not inclined in that direction, you'd better have someone on hand to do it. Once I got it all put together, there was one part missing. It took over an hour, both on their website and on the phone, to get that issue resolved.
