I did a lot of research into this, wondering why it needs to be 10% of your weight (so you can turn over easily it seems) and how it works (deep tissue pressure releases anti stress serotonin), then bought a returned one that was brand new but not in its box. It's great, feels like a big hug and I feel I also sleep more deeply. Bought one for my partner but she doesn't love it quite as much. I also get greater benefit from the shakti matt than she does so perhaps personal response to simulation comes into it. It is, however, a complete pain to get into a duvet case along with the duvet! It's not in itself a very warm blanket, which is great as I'm expecting to be able to use it all year combined with my duvet. Worth the hassle though, I like being hugged to sleep.

Very warm and comfortable blanket

I ordered this it arrived promptly with full instructions and advice. It really is very heavy and would need professional cleaning as too much for a washing machine. Having said that its really comfortable to use in bed, i think too heavy to use in a chair. I think during this lockdown many people arnt sleeping well and its too soon to say if my sleep patterns have improved but it is soft, warm and comfortable and thats brilliant.

Has been 9 months, but the beads have started to come out of the blanket in large amounts.

J'avais commandé une première couverture d'environ 7kg mais c'était encore trop léger pour moi. Je fais 61 kilos et j'ai préféré celle de 11 kilos. C'est très lourd lorsque vous faites votre lit mais une fois la couverture étalée et vous en-dessous, la masse est très bien répartie. Le produit semble résistant, si je constate des craquements de couture ou autre, je modifierai mon commentaire. La couverture est très fine contrairement à ce que peuvent penser la plupart des personnes à qui j'en ai parlé. Ce n'est pas l'épaisseur du produit qui importe mais sa densité. Je recommande cette couverture mais attention, les recommandations classiques sont une masse de 10% de celle du corps. Je suis très au-dessus.

Ob ich wirklich besser schlafe kann ich nicht sagen (habe seit langem Schlafstörungen). Allerdings fühlt es sich sehr gut an unter dieser Decke zu liegen. Sonst hatte ich abends lange Zeit mit dem "Einrichten meines Nestes" verbracht und musste bei Positionswecheln ständig neu richten. Nun bin ich weitaus schneller zufrieden und beim Drehen verändert sich kaum etwas :)Manchmal frage ich mich nur, ob eine Nummer schwerer nicht vielleicht noch angenehmer wäre, als die, die mir laut der Berechnung empfohlen wurde.Trotzdem Top!

Ich habe ungefähr ein körpergewicht von 58kg, diese Decke ist wunderbar, ich nutze nur noch sie mit einem Überzug, mein Schlaf hat sich deutlich verbessert.Schauen Sie wirklich darauf das die Decke vlt Max 9-10% des eigen Gewichts hat, eine die schwerer ist, kann man immer noch später bestellen.

This blanket isn't too hot, it isn't too cold, it's just right. I'd recommend getting a little more weight than the norm and maybe one size bigger, because others might try to squeeze into it with you. Overall, a great blanket!
