I bought these because at night our staircase is pitch black as we live in the countryside with no streetlights and the staircase is winding as well which can be dangerous! These lights illuminate it really well. As previous reviewers suggest they do guzzle batteries, but this can be sorted by either using rechargeable batteries and having 4 spare charging all the time so you switch every 2 days, or people may not have noticed but there is a android style input. So you can plug in an android charger lead and connect it to a plug socket, which is exactly what I plan to do.

Bought these to use in my campervan for some extra lighting when we didn't want the big lights on. This is the perfect compromise to a proper ceiling light because it isn't super bright but we can use only this in total darkness to cook. The van is small so doesn't need massive amounts of light to be fair but it is exactly what we were looking for.The motion sensor works perfectly, this is something I was skeptical when buying and thought if it works it's a bonus as I didn't really need it but would be cool to have. The fact it works is awesome, makes it so much easier and I just leave it on overnight so if I get up to get a drink or something it will come on automatically!I will be buying these again for other walls in the van and probably in the house also as I really do like the warm dim light it gives, much nicer to sit and have one of these on using a computer in the dark rather than a harsh white light!Only downside for me was the adhesive as it did fall down a few times early on. I added some double sided sticky tape and it seems to be working alright now.Nearly perfect product that I will for sure buy again.

Love them, ordered 2 more. Need good batteries though as cheap ones only last a couple of weeks. Bought industrial batteries. Would like a set in blue now. Make sure the surface is really clean and dry to make sure they stick, I had to use double sided tape in areas but on the whole, brilliant idea.I bought these as I fell down the stairs, now I can see every step in the dark, I have a second set on the other side with the sensor at the top, the ones in pictures have the sensor at the bottom, I also have a set on the landing so if you get up in the night they come on straight away without waking everyone up with the landing light.

These lights are incredidbly bright and the motion sensor works well.The motion sensor can be a little too sensitive but it's good. I Put these in a waredrobe and it fitted perfectly around 1 side of the waredrobe. The motion sensor was perfectly fitted to the side.The tape for the motion sensor stuck really well but the led lights have pealed off after half a week.The lights did stay on for a long time but after shutting the waredrobe they turned off, they can worknin the day and there is a switch for that.These lights are very good at a great price but they might peel off so you may need some tape.

This is a good, very bright, set of led lights on a long strip. They are brighter than I expected, so are great for lighting up dark places, however no necessarily great for atmospheric lighting. You can cut the strip shorter to get the required length, which is really handy, and then full length is adhesive on the rear.As other have said, the battery consumption is really high, although the control/battery unit does have a micro-USB input for power, so you can use an external source if you want (and you have one in the right place).

Lovely led light, worked a treat while it was working, but 6-7months later 1/3rd of the strip started flickering and developed a fault :(While it worked - Brightness and motion sensor were great, i got a usb main cable so never worried about battery, needed to use some super glue to stick it on as the adhesive provided kept falling off under the worktop.

This literally took me 2 mins to install. Cut the LED strip to size (on the markers shown on the strip), peel off the backing and stick it in place - make sure you think about where you want the battery pack to go though. The the double-sided velcro sticky on the battery pack, install batteries then stick that in the appropriate spot so that the connector from the LED strip can connect. Turn on and go - its that simple. 5-stars is awarded on the basis that I don't know how long the batteries will last, but the velcro sticky will mean that I can easily remove the pack & replace the batteries.

This Led strip works exactly as described. I have stuck to the underside of my kitchen cabinets to add an extra bit of light to our kitchen.One thing I didn't realise on ordering this is that you can use either 4 AAA batteries Or a micro USB charger to power them (great bonus!)I will be buying more to complete my under cabinet lighting project. Highly recommended.
