Works well and controls odor
We’ve been using this litter for a while now and it works very well for our cat. The clumps form quickly and are easy to scoop, which makes cleaning the litter box much easier. It also does a good job controlling odor and doesn’t track too much around the house. What I like most is how low the dust is compared to other brands we’ve tried. It feels cleaner when pouring and scooping. This is a solid litter and we’ll continue buying it.

Even though I want to, I can't GateKeep this awesome product
Alright, so I absolutely HATE kitty litter, so much that I trained my older cat to use the toilet since he was a young cat. However, my new kitten just can't grasp the toilet concept no matter what I try, so I finally gave in and got a robo Kitty Litter... while that works great, my little turd of a kitten has had a couple of accidents (peeing only) even though he's next to the robo-litter box. I figured it's the texture of the actual litter he hates. Plus, I have 3 floors so he's recently started to have a couple of "accidents" upstairs and not going into the basement robo litter box - thus I needed to add another cat litter on the top floor (no robo-litter box, just a regular faux plant cat litter box). Anyway, I tried every kitty litter you that's out there on the market: pellets, flushable, mulchy kind, Pretty Litter, Crystal one, - you name it. I even the Sustainably Yours Cat Grain Formula - and while it does well on smell, it clumps waaayyy too much and you have to change out the box more often. And while the pretty & crystal littler looks nice it doesn't absorb the smell and it turns the litter box yellow/green (vastly different than its original color (blue/white). It's just gross. Finally, after so much research I decided to try Dr. Elsey's Premium Clumping Cat Litter. OMG, it's a game changer. It works so well, that I think I finally will stop trying new litter and stick to this one as my main one. I was afraid that it would have that clay litter effect, where's it's just gross but holy crap, no. It clumps very fast, and very well, There's no smell (but then again I do have a Cat genie next to my upstairs Faux Plant Cat Litter Box. It's definitely a game changer. The only downfall is that it is HEAVY.... I mean... heavy - but, so worth it. My little turd hasn't had any accident since using this new litter. As the title says, I'd love to gatekeep only b/c you know supply and demand drives the prices up, but I can't. It's that much of an amazing product that hopefully someone reads this, relates to my original dilemma a and can help resolve their challenge.

Trained my outdoor cat!
Okay, this litter works! I was worried that my outdoor adult cat would be unable to learn to use the kitty litter. After a recent trip to the vet and a cone placed on her head, poor kitty is not allowed outside for the time being. I followed the vet's suggestion to put the kitty litter by the door where she usually heads out to do her business and mix some of the garden soil in the litter. She didn't use it immediately but finally did this morning after a grueling 48-hour wait. I thought she was going to burst on our carpet or couches! But she finally succumbed to using the litter. Even with the garden soil mixed in, it's easy to spot where her waste is and even easier to scoop up. It clumped well and was easy to clean. The price is quite high, but you get the value for the money in this litter because of its attractive quality. I will buy one more bag of this before switching to a regular litter, hoping we can finally house-break our cat. Because we mix our litter with the garden soil, there is a significant smell. This is because the poo and pee isn't completely covered in the kitty litter. Once we transition to 100% litter, I'll return with an updated review! I do like that there is no other scent in the litter, so the soil smell she's used to is prominent and inviting.

SO FAR, so good. Pretty darned good litter
So we had much of the same issues many describe here, found out about this litter on some blog and forums postings after researching our issue, cat peeing n many spots and not using the box, where her sister was doing nothing of the sort. We had almost kicked her out of the house to the porch, though our house is 2 cats and 2 dogs and all are part of our pack. Everyone else was feeling the problem. Got my lady and I arguing a small bit about how to deal with the issue. I had researched outdoor pet huts, and heated bowls, this is, right in our area, when the cold was hitting hard and we felt sorry for her, but she had resorted to peeing allover the dog beds which are a beast to clean, a heavy shag carpet we had to take outside, use 6 pairs of vice grips and clamp it to a fence, saturate it and clean with lots of detergent and urine neutralizer, and wait 4 days for it to dry outside... and more. Thankfully it was the places we COULD clean successfully. I had read about it, 14 minutes before our area petsmart was closing (only place around here that has it) closing and was desperate. Hopped up, and out got in the truck and headed to get some of this litter promised to make a difference. Realized they might not HAVE it in stock. Called and they didn't have any. Came back home disappointed, yet determined to get some. The next day at work, talked with a friend who also had the same issue and talked her into trying it at the same time. She grabbed some on her way home, as we picked some up at petsmart. At present amazon price, 8 dollars more expensive there, but we needed something immediately. We both chatted via FB about noticing it working immediately. Blown away. Since then I have ordered it a few times via amazon, one time it was WAY too clumpy. Like gooey when urine hit it. Thus, my 4 instead of 5 star review. Maybe a fluke, maybe not... nevertheless, it has, from what we've noticed had some inconsistent quality. BUT it HAS so far, solved or at least alleviated our issue. It clumps hard, it is heavy. It is not AS dusty. It is NOT scented. Like at all. It does NOT track around the house, as much. As long as you keep it clean and follow the directions (use a new box today, and every few weeks at least, DO clean your cat box, people).. it will work. Get the attractant here on amazon as well, use a small bit of that each time or every other time you add litter. KEEP YOUR CATBOX CLEAN. We have had one period of regression. We took her to the vet and they found no severe issues in this 14 year old cat. They DID find a few white blood cells in her urine, so they put her on clavamox which we are just finishing. We notice her howling like meows sometimes and THAT is the time it is time to get up and help her get to the box. We purchased Moist Pounce in a plastic container, and use it to reward her when and only when she uses the box. Treats are better with cats, used as training aids... and cats really respond to positive reinforcement. They don't respond not matter what you believe, to scolding: their minds are something people will never really truly understand, but negative reinforcement does not work. so go with the positive. Pay her more attention. Use a brush and pet her more. ON a regular basis. And take her to a vet, people. I know, an expenditure... but get her some help if you can. And give this a try. It COULD be what keeps you from disowning your cat, or being so mad at the friend you love that you nearly go out of your mind. Good luck and post questions, if I can answer them I will.

Great product. I have two kittens. One of them does his business perfectly fine, but my little girl prefers to poop and wee in the shower tray. We tried everything. Eventually we bought this, it's so expensive, but it does last ages. She still poops in the shower tray, but she now wees in this litter. It clumps very well. It doesn't track too much, but my boy kicks it everywhere. I'd highly recommend giving it a try if you're having problems. We get about a month out of one box for 2 kittens; which I suppose isn't too bad.

This is the best litter I have tried. I've switched and tried a couple of other brands, but always come back to this one. No scent, minimal dust, and great odor blocking!! I have one cat, and it works very well!

This product saved me. Our 17 year old cat was not using the litter tray at all, we couldn't cope as due to her liver issues she was having very soft bowel movements - at 3-5am of course - she lives in our bedroom (due to age). After 2 tough years, she is using her tray 90% of the time. It's made a huge impact on our lives, as we were up every night scrubbing the carpets. This product WORKS. I literally don't right reviews but want to scream it from the rooftops about this product. We use a 50/50 mix with her regular clumping litter too, so i think we'll get a fair bit of time from the bag.

I had to rewrite my review! For 4 years my 7-year-old tabby has been pooping everywhere every night. Finally this lumping litter attract worked and for the first time I had no poop to clean up. The first night there was one poop to clean up which is usually two or three at least and last night there was none! I hope this keeps up Day 5 and still no poops on floor
