A good book.
Seems to be a good value on a Bruce Lee original art.

JKD Core Structure Review
Jeet Kune Do: A Core Structure Training ManualThis is a great presentation of the core structure of Jeet Kune Do byDave Carnell who is a long time pratitioner of Jeet Kune Do.This manual covers the basics such as: stance, footwork, basic punching, kicking, defence, trapping hands, interception, five ways of attack, sensitivity drills, grappling and training with equipment etc...I was impressed with the beautiful color photos printed on high quality paper. This is a very good book for anyone new to the art of Jeet Kune Do and a very nice reference guide for the seasoned practitioner. At last a well produced Martial Arts Book!
First of all I have never trained in Jeet Kune Do. My background is entirely Wadoryu. My first comment is the book is well produced. The print and photography is very good. This is unusual for a MA book.My main comment is the similarity with Wadoryu. The 'Wedge' looking like 'Hanmei Gamae' of Wadoryu. The 'Lead straight' and the chapter on interception is very similar to 'Nagasizuki' in Wadoryu etc, etc. The book is well worth a read. The 'attitude' of the author is entirely different to Wadoryu. There is a open questioning of each technique with explainations of how to investigate and improve it. It is very 'modern' as opposed to a 'classical' way of teaching. There is even a chapter on Grappling. Plus the author does not eulogise Bruce Lee but provides a short biography. My one criticism is that there was no mention of self defence using the methods and work of Geoff Thompson. Surely this is one area that Bruce would have approved of and found room for in JKD.
