Had them for 3 years and counting The motion sensor doesn’t work too well for me but the lights are very easy to install, charge and bright enough to use for cooking. Getting a second pair to install more now

The Absolute Best Lights I’ve Ever Bought — Hands Down!🌟🌟🌟👍🏼. It’s a 15 out of 10 !!! I rarely write reviews, but these lights deserve it. I originally bought them back in 2014, and they are still going strong today! The battery life is incredible — the charge holds for a long time, even after years of use. No charging issues, no dimming over time — just reliable performance. I have them in my laundry room, and inside a cabinet where the cat food is. The motion sensor still works perfectly, whether it’s the cats jumping up or me walking through the garage. It always turns on when I need it to. The build quality is excellent. They feel solid but lightweight, and the magnet is super strong — they stay securely in place wherever I put them. The brightness is amazing too. They light up a space far better than so many others I’ve tried. I’ve recently bought a bunch of other cabinet lights, and honestly, most of them were garbage — too dim, don’t work right, bad motion detection, or just poor design. I ended up returning them and ordering more of these instead. If you’re shopping around, stop wasting your time and money. These are the ones. Best value, best performance, best everything. I can’t recommend them enough.

Motion light strips like this are not new to me. I have used the battery operated strips in several locations in my home. Up until recently, I had no idea that there were actually light strips that were rechargeable. I found this to be quite an incredible revelation for the fact that nobody wants to bother with batteries and their cost if there is a simple solution to recharge instead. Two motion light strips are included in the package along with two USB charging cables, a metal plate, and stickers. The first thing I did was plug the lights in via the USB cables. Initially, the light strip glowed red to indicate it was charging. In a short time period, that glow changed to a green color to indicate fully charged. Now if you look at the instructions, you are going to be very confused. They are poorly written. Basically, you adhere a set of stickers to one side of the iron plate. Don't remove the stickers yet. Adhere the light strip to the other side and allow it to magnetically attach. Now remove the secondary adhesive on the stickers and place the light fixture where you want it, pressing down very firmly. Another issue you may encounter is the motion detection not working properly. I had thought simply turning the switch to ON would put it into motion sensing mode. No, that is not the case. You need to push the switch all the way to the right in "G" mode. That will enable the motion sensing. I placed my light strip in a closet. Upon opening the door, the light turned on. After closing the door, the light turned off after 20 seconds. This light strip, while not super bright, puts out a reasonably good amount of light. It's perfect for closets and cabinets. I have included some photos for you to look at. Please excuse my messy closet. Bottom Line: Excellent light strip. You can overcome the horrible instructions. Don't mess with battery-operated light strips. You will want this one instead.

Last year I ordered a set of motion lights for the cabinets in my RV. They were the OxyLED branded lights. OMG! I loved them. They worked flawlessly, and I only charged them once. So I decided to buy more and... wait? No longer available!!! Now I bought a set of the Lepotec and I'd like to compare them to the OxyLed. Both are the same size. At first I thought they were the same fixture. Both are warm white. That's the only color temperature I wanted. They are available in daylight also. Both offer instant on. The Lepotec offer a third position, "on", but I can't see ever using it. The switch is so tiny, and the light comes on anyway with motion. Both charge with a USB cable included. They last a long time. Charging is easy, just pull them off their magnetic base and plug in the cable to a USB port. Both mount with a magnetic base and a strip of metal that attaches to your cabinet with included double sided tape. The OxyLed has a recess in the base so the metal strip can't get off center. The Lepotec has a smooth bottom so the lights could twist or get bumped out of position, I suppose. The OxyLed has a metal shield coving part of the light so more of the light goes into the cabinet instead of into your eyes. The Lepotec lights are symmetrical, so the light goes straight down. So far both have worked flawlessly. I'm spoiled. From a design standpoint, I give a nod of one star to the Oxyled's, but both do the job.

My armoire has been a dark and dreary spot until these awesome little lamps came into my life. While undertaking the KonMari Method of tidying (start with clothes first!), I found that I needed some sort of way to be able to see what exactly was in my clothing storage. I was going to get one of those "tap light" things but they really didn't spark any joy. After all, the whole point was to be able to open my armoire and be able to see right away. After a brief search here on Amazon, I came across a two-pack of USB charging, magnetic strip holding, motion sensing lights! Once they arrived (thank you Prime shipping!) I proceeded to install them and it took less than 5 minutes for both. Including a couple of minutes of me debating which place to put them. The packaging they came in was very sturdy. Nice cardboard box and each lamp came with it's own micro USB cable for charging. I put both cables in one box so they wouldn't get lost but we have zillion of those types of cables so I'm not too worried. I was a little concerned before they arrived as to how they would attach to my furniture, but I shouldn't have worried at all. The lamps come with a metal strip and self adhesive pads to attach the strip anywhere. If I were worried about removing them permanently, I'd have used Command Strips to attach them rather than the included ones. As it was, I only used half of the strips total for both lamps since they weren't going to be handled much. The install was super fast and easy. Peel, stick, press, done. The motion sensors work just great and the timers work as advertised as well. A 20 second shut off after the last motion is sensed makes sure your battery power doesn't get wasted. I don't know when I'll have to recharge them since they are LEDs and draw nearly no power. I highly recommend these. For the price, they can't be beat!

Update 01/2021: I contacted the company asking about a warranty and they told me it's two years. So I told them mine didn't work and they sent me a replacement pair with no fuss. Quick and easy. So I boosted my review back up to three stars. Now to see how long these ones last. Update 01/2021: Now the second one doesn't work at all. Hasn't worked in months. Same thing. Doesn't hold a charge. These things are complete junk. Original review: I bought this a little over a year ago and they've had very light use. Now, they won't hold a charge at all for any actual length of time. I bought two, and one hasn't held a charge for months now, but will indicate it's full after being plugged in for awhile, but will light up once and not come on again. The other was working better, but I just used the closet today and it's not coming on, either. I had just charged it not too long ago and only had it come on once since then. My dad bought a couple different ones and can actually use them outside, out of the rain, of course, and they are fine. These ones couldn't last only being used in a shoe closet. While they were working, they were nice. Very bright, easy to charge and tell when done charging, and the magnetic strip was easy to put up. Unfortunately, now I have a useless magnetic strip stuck to the top of my threshold for the closet, so I'll have to either peel it off and rip off the paint or leave it there and maybe get another set of these by a different manufacturer. Unfortunately, I'm sure they're all made in China, and all sorts of "brand names" from China can use the same factories, from what I can tell from various products I've seen that are exactly alike except for the name.

Fabulous light. I have struggled for years with battery operated lights that just give a dim light to a small portion of my pantry. These two MOTION SENSOR lights light up my pantry beautifully.....they turn on when I reach into the pantry and light everything and turn off 20 seconds after motion stops. They are PERFECT!!!! Many of the lights on the market are motion activated night lights but these work by motion alone and are not affected by the amount of light already available. Since my pantry is a "closet" in my kitchen there is always some light which would prevent night light types from working but these are great. I love them so much I am ordering a second set for my upstairs linen closet! Wish I had discovered these eight years ago when I bought my new home! The light is also bright without being glaring or harsh. Simple to install....just peel and stick the magnetic strip and attach the light. Best feature.....they are rechargeable so no more constant buying of new batteries. They are the perfect solution!
