SUNMEG 8W LED Filament Bulb Vintage Edison Light Bulb, ST64 8W Bulb 700 Lumens,Equivalent to 70w Edison Bulb,E26 2200K Soft Warm Light Bulb (4 Pack)

I purchased these 6W LED bulbs for use in a chandelier in our 1895 Victorian house. The bulbs available at the big box stores were too bulky to fit with an old house decor. These seemed to be most like the incandescent bulbs we were using in our fixture.On arrival, I changed out the four bulbs in one chandelier that we use the most (at least 10 hours per day) and found the light pleasing. The brightness was at least equal to the 60 W bulbs they replaced. The light color seems to be the same as the incandescent bulbs. With 6 W replacing 60 W, we save approximately 208 Watts per hour of operation. Not sure at this price that's a great payback, but its in line with the other LED's I've used.The bulbs appear the same as the incandescent bulbs when lit. When off, the bulbs have the look of the incandescent, but with orange elements that are thicker than the typical tungsten element in an Edison bulb. Unless you stare right at them when off, you can't really tell any difference.The bulb build quality was good and they all worked on receipt. I had one bulb fail after about a week (approximately 40 hours operation). No other failures have been experienced since then, with a total now of 4 weeks (about 120 hours) in operation.I do not use a dimmer on this circuit, so I cannot comment on the bulbs compatibility with dimmers.I do recommend these bulbs. They are a little expensive, but worth the money.

Okay, I replaced my older bulbs in the chandler that where also LED and this looks way better. And with my Evolve Z-Wave dimmer it worked great, in fact they are an awesome pair. The bulbs did not work well with my GE Z-Wave dimmer too well, it would flicker every now and then. I bought 18 bulbs for 2 chandlers and one worked like a charm, and the other had this flicker issue. Changed out the GE dimmer, same problem, swapped out the dimmer for one by Evolve and it worked perfect. You can dimmer them down to just a glow, and they look really neat, and in this mode they are a great night light. I wish I had more places to install them in just so I can see the bulbs glowing. In the attached photos you will see the old LED bulbs and the new filament bulbs. I saw these in the UK long before they came to the US and I am so glad to see they are here now!

This bulb looks great compared to an incandescent of the same shape and wattage. I removed one star from the product because it will not dim with a standard dimmer. I read some reviews so I purchased a single bulb for testing. This bulb will dim if there is at least one incandescent in the same circuit. If you're using all LED, then you need a special dimmer.When the bulb does dim, it looks great at any light level.Once we get the dimmers we need, I'll be purchasing more of these bulbs. The savings for our business in the long run will be worth it.

I looked diligently for a "Vintage Edison" bulb that provided a Soft White (2700K) color versus the normal Yellow (2200K). There are a few options on Amazon for such a bulb in LED form, however very few of them are UL Listed. I desired the UL Listing to ensure the safety within my home. Sunmeg has created a wonderful bulb. The light color matches our 2700K CREE can lighting in the room perfectly. The packaging of the bulb is great, the bulb is protected during shipping within a plastic clamshell within the cardboard box which should eliminate the glass separating from the socket like some of the cheaper Amazon options.In short, we loved getting the Edison look with a more comfortable color. We are now ordering more to replace a few more bulbs in our lamps.

SUNMEG fails to understand the standard US socket for their design of a dimmer. I have two lamps with 4 bulbs each, so 48W in total. I have tried two dimmers and NONE of them work: LUTRON Maestro MACL-153MH-WH and LEVITON Decora 6674. I have these without a dimmer now, but it defeats the purpose of spending the extra money for a dimmable bulb. As for the bulbs, no issues, they look and work beautifully at full bright. I would absolutely say that a 6W bulb is comparable to a 60W incandescent. Ohh, if you find a US socket dimmer that does work: full bright and low till it's off, and without mixing with regular bulbs, then let me know!

These are unusal looking blubs. However, the color is perfect and they are great in our chandelier. We were doubtful, but ordered them to save energy. Our 12 light chandelier was using 720 watts! By replacing those blubs with these LED's we have the same amount of light, but we are now using only 72 watts of electricity. The color on these is 3000 and that seems to be the perfect color match for the old incandescents. We are really happy with these blubs and after looking at the box we realise that they have a 50,000 hour life span. I will probably never have to replace them. Next month we are going to add an LED dimmer switch. Then they will be perfect in every lighting condition.

Bulbs look good and light color is good, as advertised. They don't quite have the light output advertised but it is close enough. They do work with a dimmer but there are issues with flickering if you are not using a dimmer specifically made for LED bulbs. The light quality also has a high frequency flicker that is noticeable when you have motion under these lights making motion look a bit cinematic.

The lights came packaged nicely. They shined very bright. They do not get hot. The only thing that happened is I cannot use one of them because it flickers no matter where I plug it in. I would like a replacement bulb but I don’t know how to get a hold of the people to get one.
