Nice for the refrigerator
My daughter likes the elements; she arranged these magnets on the side of the refrigerator to make a periodic table. Nice to see, and it means I have over 100 refrigerator magnets available as needed. :-)

Compact learning tool for the kitchen.
A well made product. I put it on the fridge and look at it often. It can be broken into many pieces in order for one to learn where the each piece goes. I left mine intact. A great gift for those interested in the inner space realm, this is a great roadmap to study with.

Fun, if a little cheaply made, way to learn by repeated exposure.
Only 4 stars because they are kind of on the thin side / slightly cheap, but I've got them stuck on my fridge as I write. My kiddo loves rearranging them, which is fine with me. Just turned 6 and I've been inundating her since she was 1 with the table of elements in one form or another---shower curtain for bathtimes, magnets on the fridge for fun, and the Tom Lehrer animated song are all helping to familiarize her with these very important parts of life. I'm still collecting fun ways for her to learn, and learning just as much in the process =)

Cool, but don't expect them to hold anything up
These magnets are cool in a super nerdy sort of way.If you were excited about the Higgs boson, these could be for you.But if you're expecting them to hold anything, and I mean anything, up on your fridge, look elsewhere.They're cool, but they're not very magnetic and they're not really cut that well.The magnet portion will rip when you try to separate the elements (which, let's face it, if you buy this, you will do at some point).All told, they're a cool addition to a fridge, but they can't hold anything up and they're likely to rip. In hindsight, there are many other options for this type of thing and I wish I'd found one of them.

Great for kids and people who love science. More fun than poetry magnets for us!
Chemistry is one of my favorite subjects and this has helped me get the kids into the basics. Pair it with a chemistry set and you've got a fabulous boost to their science education.

Great learning tool
Bought this for my Chemistry class, it is a great memorization tool. Will recommend for anyone needing a little edge in chem.
