Fast friends
We lost our first FDB and my kiddo was heartbroken. Our family is complete again with a new beetle friend, to be named. Arrived active and happy to play.

Simple, Fascinating, and a Little Dumb (or a lot!)
My little guy arrived just fine in a container packed with leaves and paper towels. I've had him for almost two years now and he seems to be going strong! Getting him to eat was a little tricky at first, but eventually he began eating pieces of apple after they dried out a bit. He also eats freeze-dried bloodworms (like the ones sold for Betta fish) and live superworms. Strangely, he seems to be nocturnal even though I've read that they're active during the day. I think it's because he prefers to be out when we humans are away, because for a time I was working on projects at night and sleeping during the day -- and he soon switched to being active during the day! He's great to take out and let crawl around, but be careful! They WILL march right off a cliff without hesitation if you let them. Don't use calcium sand or moist dirt in their container and be sure they can't use anything as a ladder to climb out. They're amazing climbers, even upside down!

So much fun, sweet, and entertaining!
I absolutely adore my little Bluebell! She is so much fun, sweet, and entertaining. She reminds me a lot of my late hamster Ellie in both personality and appearance 🤪Know that these little cuties are indeed nocturnal; I have read various sources that all say something different about when these beetles are most active. So they are the perfect pet for people who are busy all dayAlso, Bluebell didn’t appear to be eating anything for the first 5 days after I received her. I did some research and it’s normal for them not to eat for about a week after shipping due to the stress. So please don’t panic like I did lol!I recommend buying dried baby shrimp (in the fish food section). Those gave Bluebell her appetite back and she absolutely loves them. Please do yourself a favor and get one of these little critters! You won’t regret it

Cute healthy little guy
Love my little guy. He came in good packaging. And came with a heat pack to keep him warm which was unfortunately ice cold when I opened the box. Was a little worried at first since the temp was so cold and he wouldn’t move for about an hour. But he eventually came to and explored a bunch and ate his food. It was a bit more expensive then other places online which I didn’t notice until after the fact. But overall I’m happy. He’s super cute and looks healthy

Handicapped beetle
He was shipped really quickly in about 2 days. He however came with 2 feet missing. This does not phase him. He is eating well and is good. I wish further expecting for a perfect specimen was done but overall very satisfied

Arrived Healthy and Active!
I was worried that they are coming from the opposite end and it took 6 days. However, they arrived healthy and were active right away. They are adorable! I would recommend this seller.
