Proscan Automotive AC808 SRS Airbag Reset Tool Diagnostic Scanner Code Reader for E Z X series

The local BMW garage wanted over £70 to reset the airbag light on my BMW Mini Cooper - there was no fault, but I had unplugged the electrics from the passenger seat without disconnecting the battery first. I tried a couple of local BMW independents, and they wanted £30 to reset the light.So, I bought this handy little gadget for just under £20 (there were cheaper offers, but this seller had a faster delivery and I had an MOT booked). It's so simple to use. Plug it into the OBDII port under the dash, turn the ignition on, let it find the fault codes, scroll down, hit the Enter button, and that's it - airbag light extinguished.Not only have I saved a tenner based on the independents prices, I also saved a fiver in fuel going to get it done, and I've still got a handy little tool to use again - or even sell if I want to.All in all I'm very happy with the seller efficiency and the product itself - and it saved me money too!

I have a 2002 Mini One , and upon checking the fault codes with an OBD2 cheker it indicated a fault with the passenger seat belt tensior (blue) and caused the airbag light to come on -, the obd2 i had was specific for bmws and minis but it would not remove it and it cost over £100, i really wasnt expecting this to work but after discconnecting the tensioner and running this simple device it stayed on, i then reconnected the tensioner and re run the code scan then clear, the airbag light starts to flash slowly, then after about 20 seconds it went out, il edit my review in a few weeks so that i know it stays out

Well, first off, I bought this tool to be able to reset a passenger seat occupancy airbag warning light, and to be honest, it did just that. It took 3 cycles but it worked. Seems to be a common fault on BMW’s as plenty on the Internet regarding the problem.This tool can be bought more cheaply elsewhere but I know what I’m getting through Amazon.

Does not work. Tried on 4 different BMWs all I get is E10 error (can't communicate with car) I think these will only work on e46 or older BMWs in wich case a reset tool is not required anyway if you know what your doing. Cheap gimmick that I would recommend avoiding

Doesn't work on a Mini R50

I replaced the steering wheel on my Mini Convertable 2005. The airbag light was lit up when I turned the key and would not go off. I researched online and found this tool. I was not expecting it to work I admit.I plugged it into the car, the machine found the fault I sorted the problem and then the machine cancelled the fault and the airbag light switched off.Brilliant.

Great product unless you own a bmw as the unit cannot communicate with the brain of the car. As it wasn't too expensive I will keep if for any future cars I own or for friends cars which suffer airbag issues

Was brought to reset airbag light on car but refused to reset and had to another adapter just to read code via a different port
