Product Description
A delicious sweet and tangy candied orange peel which can be used in many puddings and cakes and is also a useful ingredient in Morrocan cooking.
Ingredients
Glucose syrup (made from corn), orange peel 25%, salt, citric acid.

I love using citrus peel in cakes and puddings as well ...
I love using citrus peel in cakes and puddings as well as with lamb etc but most supermarket candied peel tastes revolting. Very artificial and just sugary. So I was very happy to find this Organic candied orange peel - Bio Idea also do candied lemon peel. This orange peel actually tastes like orange - a clear zingy taste but not over sweet. Because it's got a good flavour I find I use less than stated in most cake recipes. I've tried making my own and it takes quite a lot of time and effort and you need to do a lot to make the effort worth it so in the long run its cheaper to buy this delicious peel ready prepared. I wish they'd start doing organic glacé cherries, angelica etc. Highly recommended

At long last, candied peel without preservatives !
Whilst this hasn't quite the taste of conventional sugared candied peel , it compensates with it's un-adulterated purity !

Bought these to make a hot cross bun loaf and they are so tasty! So much flavour in them and nice small pieces so it doesn't matter what you're putting them in.

Not only much cheaper than buying in the supermarket it tastes better too. The citrus taste is more pronounced and it's not as sweet. Organic too. Highly recommended.
