As advertised, it works perfectly with the Roland RT-30HR Triggers on acoustic drums. Finally took my standard heads off and converted to full Roland Mesh 2-ply heads on my front four Toms. Combined with the digital Roland Snare, HiHat, Ride and the TD-50X controller, it unleashes the amazing sound and playability of an acoustic hybrid kit.

I was nervous that the mesh head will not work with my PD - 140 DS but once installed there has been no issue. The head is two ply and the stock head that comes with Roland has a 3rd layer in the middle, dampening the sound and feel when you play it, overall I can say that head construction is sturdy and withstand a heavy hand such as mine.

Another warped or horrible defective drum head made by Remo. Why I stick to Evans on my acoustic set! Drum makers need to stop relying on Remo to make products for them. Especially Roland and DW!

Using this for my Roland KD-8 and beat them daily with my DW9000 double kick pedals using felt pads. Been 3 months now and no signs of wear.

Bought it to upgrade my Alesis head (which turns out was also dual ply), but it just got a lot louder. It’s probably closer to an acoudstic drum in feel, but also in noise. Looked good quality, but nothing magical. It had a larger height or width which made it diffcult to install. Probablz better for Roland kits.

The inner mesh (on the bottom) and outer mesh (on the top) were both warped in several places. Not sure if this is a defective part or they are just poor quality but I’m really shocked this is a product from Roland in this bad condition. For the price too, this is really unacceptable Roland. If it’s a packaging caused defect, then use better packaging. If it’s poor quality I’ll reconsider buying Roland in the future. Going to order another and hope it’s better. Fingers crossed.

Por fin puedo practicar con mi redoblante y tom de piso gracias a estos parches de malla debido a su muy silenciosa respuesta al atacar el tambor... Aún estoy en espera que llegue un parche de 12, y no dudo que será todo un éxito el montar toda mi batería con estos parches... Pensando considerablemente en adquirir el parche de 22 de malla también...
