Q: Has anyone tried it in a copier yet? I think it could be trimmed to feed through...but what about receiving the print?

Yes, I ran mine through a Epson inkjet printer and it worked just fine. I think it would be best to set the printer for card stock. I had a small problem with the corners folding over when the printer was set to regular paper, but the final print was very nice.

Q: Is this archival, that is, okay for scrapbooking? Also, can you use it with dies and run through die cutting machine? Thanks!

It's ok to cut and write on but it's also very porous so I would expect dyes may run a bit. Although I haven't used it with die cutting machines I would expect that it would stay in place for the cutting part of the project.

Q: Is this suitable to write a poem on using a micron pen? sharpie?

The texture will hang you up....I would use a brush pen. This way you can write smooth lines. But do a section at a time to allow drying before you go to the next section .

Q: Can you cut them into smaller pieces without them coming apart?

Yes you can. I bought a package of them for my ethnobotany class I teach at the local university and I needed more sheets than came in the package so I cut them in half with a paper cutter. (Guillotine style--I don't know if a rotary blade cutter, such as one uses for scrapbooking, might be dulled by the papyrus.) The edges are clean and unfrayed. I think it would work to cut curved edges with scissors too, although I only did straight cuts.
