EzyDog Vario 6 Multi-Function Dog Lead, 3-6 foot, Blue

This is far and away the best lead I have had. I used to have a lead with a plastic clip loop which made for nice easy tethering without having to unclip the dog and, as the clip had eventually broken, was keen to find a good replacement. The Vario 6 has many more features, which make this a real improvement. The webbing is strong yet soft and there is reflective stitching along the length which is a nice, unobtrusive safety feature. The clips are metal with thumb springs which feel substantial and secure, and the loops are of a plastic material, but are good and sturdy. All the fixings are well attached and the loops are also very useful to attach poo-bag or treat pouches etc. I have used it as a two-dog lead, which is fine at a pinch, but not so ideal for small dogs, as the lead length in that mode is a little short and certainly would be for a taller person than me! (the EzyDog range does include a coupler add-on) The traffic control mode is good, and the loop through which you pass the lead for this and the two-dog option, is also just as useful as a quick finger-grab for extra close control. I have two small dogs, and don't have any experience of it with a large pooch, but it feels like it would be substantial enough. It is certainly plenty strong enough to take two small/medium dogs together using a coupler.

Absolutely love these Ezydog leads. We already had a brown one which was a bit worse for wear so ordered another one. They are a great length to let the dog sniff. I find it useful tethering the dog around my waist if I am teaching him to heel while walking our other puppy and also it's fab for camping or walking out and about as you can tether him to picnic benches/tables if you stop for a drink or snack in a pub. All in all a great sturdy lead which will last ages and lots of different uses! We don't use anything else.

This is FANTASTIC! We always go for EzyDog stuff because we love the asthetics of it and its durability but this is the product we love the most and the one other dog owners ask us about the most. Our boy pulls like a train and he has previously wrecked a zero-shock lead but this is going strong. We use all of the functions ie. as a tether in cafes, around the body when we need 2 free hands, as a short line etc. and it's yet to disappoint; it's been soaking wet, dragged across the ground, dunked in the sea and generally beaten to pieces by our big boistrous Mountain Dog and it's still going strong. The clips are still working perfectly and are really smooth to open and close although the paint is chipping a bit; if he ever manages to destroy this it will be replaced with another one exactly the same. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this lead!

I don't have to struggle with the dog (pooh bags, dog lead, cup of coffee, dog jumping to the get ball of out my pocket) but now it's not a problem - I just have this lead in hands-free mode. It's a really great lead. Can be adjusted to so many different positions. You click it to hands free and the dog is walking in the perfect heel position without having to battle with her. Then you click it to normal lead or training lead. You can even click it round your belt if you like. I was unsure when I first ordered it and a bit sceptical (thinking it'd be yet another dog thing that I'd waste money on and use once) but it's honestly THE BEST lead and worth every penny!

This lead is of a very high quality, and I can tell straight away that it will last a long time. In terms of length and usage it is very versatile, with 6 different set-ups. I bought this lead for a large dog who tends to pull, my hope being that I could have it longer when I want to give him a bit more length to play with, or shorter (3ft is the shortest it goes) when I was in a busier area and needed to keep him reeled in. The problem is that although the lead is sturdy and strong, it's not the most comfortable lead to be working with on a daily basis. There's no actual "handle", and it's so thick that actually it becomes quite difficult to manage. I would recommend this lead for people whose dogs are great on the lead, and who really just need something versatile for tying the dog up outside a shop or on a camp ground or something, but probably not as a day-to-day lead for anyone. I certainly wouldn't recommend this as a lead for someone whose dog is not good on the lead. I will keep this lead for the uses I stated above, for instance on camping trips to keep him tethered, but it won't be used on a daily basis. Another thing to note is that the orange is not like the picture, it's proper super duper high-vis orange!

I needed a lead to connect to a 2 point harness to help stop my dog pulling and this was perfect. The build quality is great with the double layer material and good quality stitching and metal clips. Also really like the versatility, being able to make it longer when away from people, and shorten when walking on thy pavement. Also great to be able to quickly clip it around a railing or tree.

This is one very sturdy bit of kit!!! Very strong and lots of options for lead lengths etc, also has reflective material sewn in which is an added extra Seems to be able to withstand and dirt / water / stress I am able to throw at it!

Very comfortable long lasting lead. Convenient to tie your dog when needed (in a cafeteria for example), good length for every day use.

I love this leash, I wanted a leash where I could also go running with my dog, at first I thought it would be to short and my dog would like have to run like right by my side so it would be annoying, as it is he does have to run next to me but there is a bit of give and tug. and its comfortable over your shoulder for running! it also has good grip so you can use it as a traffic leash and have it short. and than of course if you are going 'wandern' or something and want your dog on leash but to have bit of space to explore a bit you can extend the leash to its full length which is nice! as always Ezydog is just a fantastic brand and never fails to deliver on quality!!!!

Funktionell, schlicht und stabil...mit dezenten Reflektoren und vielen möglichen Ösen und so weiter. so nun noch sieben worte und endlich geschafft...

Ich habe die Leine bestellt, da wir für unseren Hund das passende Geschirr dazu haben und uns dieses sehr gut gefällt. Die Leine sollte auch zum Umhängen als hands-free Leine dienen. Dafür ist sie leider viel zu kurz. Keine Ahnung, ob ich zu groß bin (175cm) oder unser Hund zu klein (Retriever) ist, jedenfalls kommt die Leine nur gerade eben bei ihm am Halsband an. Außerdem ist die Leine ziemlich breit, was mir persönlich nicht so gut gefällt. Sie hat aber ein schönes Material uns ist gut verarbeitet. Als Leine zum in der Hand halten ist sie wohl ganz gut zu gebrauchen.
