TN4 TN04 Varco Type Replacement Stylus

I had to send this back because it did not fit my turntable but I am sure if your's has the same shape down to the small part of plastic that sticks out , You will be happy with it . It is the same as they were long time ago.

Initially, it sounded great. Then yesterday I went to play a record and it just skidded across the disc. I installed it a little over a month ago. I've played maybe 3 albums and 10 45s on it. I put the needle under a magnifier and it looked rounded. Now, I've owned, repaired and sold many record players in the last 50 years. I have never seen this before. I put the old needle back in and it works fine. I hope it was a fluke and that the second needle I purchased doesn't do the same thing.

I have a rare UK Garrard stereo console that I restored and original stylus was not to be found . This replacement stylus works great !!!!
