Worth the few extra dollars - beautiful handmade bells
This is my 2nd set of Beau's Bells. They are well made and very pretty. Their best feature is the sound. They sound like Christmas jingle bells, very pleasant. I bought a less expensive set of bells for my dog after he lost the first set of Beau's Bells, and they did the job (alerted the cats - my dog loves to chase cats), but the sound was awful, more of a clack than a tinkle. No comparison to Beau's Bells. And they are handmade in the USA - who doesn't love that! Spend a little extra and buy these bells rather than the less expensive bells - you won't regret it.

Loud, Luxe, and Perfect for a Tiny Maltese With Big Sneaky Energy
My Maltese is tiny, fluffy, and way too good at silent missions, so I needed a bell that was both beautiful and genuinely loud enough to track her little adventures. Beau’s Bells absolutely delivered. The handmade copper looks like a tiny piece of jewelry against white fur, and the sound is crisp and clear without being harsh. I can finally hear her soft trot around the house, and my budgies stay safer now that I always know when she’s approaching their space. The bell is lightweight, secure, and doesn’t snag on long Maltese hair, which is a huge win. It adds a touch of luxury while actually doing its job. For anyone with a small breed who moves like a whisper, this bell makes life easier, safer, and a lot cuter.

Loud
They're expensive... but worth it, I feel. Puts the near-useless, supplied-with-the-colla-type bells to utter shame. MUCH louder. Also, heavy duty/well built. Expect that they'll outlast my cat(s)! I bought one pair of the mid-size bells, thinking to use one-each, on my two cats; but eventually decided that the the younger, 'mighty hunter' version cat (Nacho) needed a full TWO bells. So... bought a pair of the small bells, this time, for him. Surprised to find that the smaller bells are pretty much as loud as the mid-sized ones. Also, little enough difference in tone (surprising, that) that I've never subconsciously/intuitively learned to differentiate between the cats' jinglings of the bells; even after adding the 2nd mid-sized bell back onto the collar of my larger/older cat. So... after considering the cost of the Rabies shot/tag ($15), the collar ($1@, in six-lot/Amazon), the custom, laser-engraved, epoxy paint-filled name tag ($10@/Amazon), and then the pair of bells ($19 per pair, I think it was, here)... I've got about $45 invested in the outfitted collar; per cat! And, sure enough... after about only a week... Nacho returned one evening... W/O his collar! Arrgghh!! But... fortunately, I found it just where I thought it might have been shed, next door; where my cats commonly like to hang out, when outdoors. I think I loosened the collar too much, when I noticed Nacho scratching at it, in apparent annoyance, after having first put it on him (no previous collar experience. No prob/other cat). I think, while scratching vigorously at the collar (behavior directly observed by me), he likely caught his foot in it, yanked in panic... and popped the safety release of the collar. So... considering the investment... I ordered (Amazon, again; of course) some Samsung (to work with my Samsung phone) Galaxy SmartTag Bluetooth locator tags. So now... each collar has an additional (yet!) $20 invested in it! But... in addition to gaining info on my cats' activities (plus other advantages), I can find the durn thing, if either cat manages to 'lose' one, again. Hopefully. :-) :-) Highly recommend these bells, despite the expense.

Loud
Bells are loud, attractive and well made but the attachment ring to the collar failed.

Loud!
These bells are definitely loud! We put it on our niece's dog who we pet sit often. He likes to come up behind us in stealth mode and lay down behind us, which can trip us when we turn around from whatever we might be doing. The first set of bells we used were much smaller pet collar bells which worked well but fell apart within the year. These bells are sturdier and the fastener appears to be more durable. I ecpect it will hold up better then the previous bells.

Perfect for a mischievous dog.
I bought these to replace a cluster of smaller bells or Chihuahua mix wears. She likes to sneak off and get into trouble. That includes sneaking into the cat litter boxes for "snacks", going potty in other rooms or our master closet, stealing toys from the other dogs, etc. These bells are about the size of a large acorn and they do indeed ring out or rattle quite easily. I was worried it'd be too heavy and she would learn to walk silently, like she did with some other larger ones we once tried, but she can't seem to stay quiet with these. They are definitely well manufactured, should last a long time, and look nice. All I had to do was turn the ring onto her collar and off she went.

Great sound
Best bells for my kitty! We are hard of hearing but these bells help us know where our kitty is!

Perfect little bells
Perfect size and sound! Our new puppy is only a little over 4 lbs so I was worried the small size would still be too big. It only took him a few hours to get used to it on his collar and the sound is just loud enough for us to be able to easily find him around the house when he starts to explore without being annoying! It looks classy and so cute on him.

Can find both cats around the yard. It’s great to know where they are even if you can’t see them. Let’s birds know they are near by. Unfortunately, birds take risks and can still get caught. Very loud. Older cat had two but lost one . She has had hers for 3.5 years now. Yes costly but in the long run worth it.

The bells are well-made and quite lovely aesthetically. They have a nice chime sound to them, unlike the high tinny pitch of other cat bells. Highly recommended.
